I was going thru my stash to see if I had enough to build a Dynamight and found that I'm short a pair of each of these. I then found that they aren't available anymore

Does anyone have (2) of each they would sell, or barring that, anyone know what the singles of these are (if there is such an animal)?

If not, would something like matched pairs of 2SA970 / 2SC2240s work?

I have some, but yes matched pairs would work.

The datasheet only says the matched pair will have a differential Vbe of 0-10mV, at a test condition of Vce=6V and Ic=2mA. You can probably do better than this if you get enough 2sa970/2sc2240 to match and bond them together

I've got quite a few as I use these for I/V stages. These appear to be lower noise than the duals are? Kevin commented on the DynaFET thread on headwize that these could be substituted with the 2SA1145 / 2SC2705s that are already used elsewhere in the Dynahi, but might be noisier. The 2SA970 / 2SC2240s would seem like they might be a better device for this...

Marc,

Does that mean you have some of the duals, or some 2SA970 / 2SC2240s?

Pars,

After digging out the transistors here is what I have:

2SA1145 x8

2SC2705 x8

2SA1358 x16

2SC3421 x16

Let me know if you need any

Pete

Thanks Pete,

I'll send you a pm.

Chris
