saint.panda Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 Not sure what you guys did to land on the blacklist but I can't reach HC in China without going through a proxy. Or maybe your IP neighbours did something and the whole ip block was blocked.

Or maybe your IP neighbours did something and the whole ip block was blocked. Didn't know that, but honestly I don't really care one way or the other . whois limit is exceeded too. hmmm. This has nothing to with us at all, it's a feature of the top level .org registrar: .:: .ORG Registry ::.
aardvark baguette Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 The fact that enough people looked it up, thats what I found strange.
guzziguy Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 It could be as simple as too many 4 letter words.

saint.panda Posted July 20, 2008 Author Report Posted July 20, 2008 Communism's been over ever since Starbucks moved into the Forbidden City.
slwiser Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 It is trying to come to American in a Big way....and probably will; sooner than later. Won't that be a surprise to the world.
grawk Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 I can say that I'm not at all upset that we're blocked in china. The other side has enough trouble with the chinese shills, I really don't want them here.

The other side has enough trouble with the chinese shills, I really don't want them here. They teach that at Chinese business schools, no joke. First brainstorming session I had with Chinese interns about website promotion gave some results like shilling on forums, bribing bloggers and mods. Then again, forum culture takes on an entirely new dimension in China when you have CNET-China purchase forums on a regular basis with going prices at $1-2 million, cash.
lostonetr Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 not that related tho. The site was accessible from Tokyo and Seoul, not that anyone's asking.
