blessingx Posted January 27 Report Posted January 27 (edited) Blu-ray is dying. Long live tape. https://www.techradar.com/pro/blu-ray-is-dying-so-i-believe-its-now-time-for-obsolete-tape-to-shine-again-in-the-strangest-of-ironies Edited January 27 by blessingx Quote
HiWire Posted March 15 Report Posted March 15 (edited) Sony releases its first new Blu-ray player in 5 years, the updated UBP-X700/K (lacking networking and streaming features). The growing demand for the sold-out optical disc attachment for the PlayStation 5 may have told them that people still want 4K Blu-ray. It looks like a stripped-down player, lacking analog audio out, unlike a fancy box like the expensive Panasonic DP-UB9000PC: Edited March 15 by HiWire 1 3 Quote
