grawk Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 The trick is they're almost never put up for sale. I'd buy a set for $30 just ot hear them tho, so I could finally have heard a grado lower in the lineup than the 225. Quote
DocHamm Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 I'm still looking for a $30 pair of Grados. The only ones I've seen are in need of repair. Quote

deepak Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 I actually like the SR-60 more than the SR-225 (with flats or bowls). The SR-225 are just too bright with an upper midrange glare, wheras the SR-60 is the opposite; it rolls off the treble fairly early so it's a lot more comfortable to listen to over long periods. I had the SR-225 twice, and I could never use them for more than an hour at a time even at low volumes. Quote
Chekhonte Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Maher, if you ever decide that you don't line the flat pad then I'd buy them off of you. Just send me a PM or email. Quote
