Fungi Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 How many times is he going to say he's going to ship it out before it actually goes out? No wait, don't answer that...
The Monkey Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I also like how he always says, "and you will like it." What else is he going to say? "No worries. It will be there, and man is it going to suck"?
Jeepster Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 He could say "I have included the fist attachment for your vibrator at no extra cost".
pabbi1 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Funny, yeah, but i need to try and get some replacement foam from Mikhail first which could prove challenging. He wants to work on them but that's not gonna happen. But i really need that foam from him, it is not available anywhere else. Maybe he has some pads too. When is your meet? I would let you guys use them but i need new parts first. If anyone can get anything out of Mikhail, it seems to be Alex... he talks to him in some variation of Russian... seriously, you might ping Alex to see if he can source it, even if it is via SP.
Icarium Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Yeah I'm pretty dubious.. I mean if it really has moved I would think that he would demand payment.
Fitz Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I also like how he always says, "and you will like it." What else is he going to say? "No worries. It will be there, and man is it going to suck"? Yeah, that doesn't sound very promising, especially considering he told Tom he was gonna love what he got too.
pabbi1 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Don't worry it will arrive and you will like it. We'll talk tomorrow and it should be on it's way. A verbatim quote for what Peter Mcalister used to send me... except, unfortunately, he actually shipped the unit... twice.
archosman Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 This just gets weirder and weirder...
blubliss Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 If anyone can get anything out of Mikhail, it seems to be Alex... he talks to him in some variation of Russian... seriously, you might ping Alex to see if he can source it, even if it is via SP. Thanks for the idea. Spritzer, I will give the adapters a try, thanks.
purk Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Well with the ES-1 I used to have, it was 3 or 4 fault tracking before a real tracking was provided. Dan, maybe it is getting close now. Luckily my SDS has been superbly reliable from day one.
Icarium Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Dan, If it doesn't come up by tonight, then I will fly it out to you. Let me make sure it's been scanned and processed by FedEx at the main facility. -

pabbi1 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Just dropped 3 monstrous boxes at FedEx myself - tracking is working ok for me in Dallas...
tom_hankins Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Has he got his own plane;D I hope so. he emailed me and told me he would be here with the PSU and fix the amp on monday. I emailed back and asked what monday? he has not replyed to that question yet.
penger Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I asked him about my Extreme last week (he had also promised a Friday delivery) and he told me sometime in the middle of this week...
Icarium Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Dan, It should show processed tracking by 12:00 in the morning. No more waiting for the delivery, it will be there.
grawk Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 "let me make sure it's been processed" = "I'm lying, I haven't done shit"
crappyjones123 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 man i feel really bad for your dan. this bites big time. hope you actually get it this time and like the amp.
Elephas Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 This kind of lying and delays is typical of Mikhail. He did it to me over a few months last year, until I finally received an ES-1 in early Oct. After going through the frustrations myself, I'm glad to see that I'm in no way special and Mikhail does the same thing to many other people. Dealing with Mikhail is a guaranteed exercise in frustration. Probably the only way to avoid it is to not deal with him at all.
n_maher Posted January 18, 2009 Author Report Posted January 18, 2009 I don't think that FedEx updates their tracking system on the weekend, same with UPS and USPS. I wouldn't expect them to update it Monday either with the holiday. If something has happened I wouldn't expect to see it until Tuesday at the earliest.

Absolutely fedex updates their tracking system on a continuous basis. I tracked the package i got yesterday and 5 minutes after i got it, it showed as being delivered on the website. Every time a package goes in and out of a facility it is tracked. Even if it is shipping ground, it is scanned when it goes into the truck, and when it comes out of the truck.
