Dusty Chalk Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Hoo. Fucking. Ray. And I mean that with absolutely zilch sarcasm.
Pars Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Cool. Now just renew Sarah Connor, the Unit, uhh... what else? The Shield? Oh sorry, not gonna happen on that one.
grawk Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 yah, I'm thrilled...maybe they'll cut terminator a break too
laxx Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Very awesome. I'm glad they didn't jerk Whedon again.
Spiug31 Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Dollhouse season 1 starts on the sci-fi channel in the UK this tuesday (19th may) at 9pm
Voltron Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I didn't watch any of these shows, but Dollhouse and Bones are in and Terminator is out.
en480c4 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 "The wrongness of this is so large!" Best, most Buffy-like line yet so far. Yeah, just getting to the finale. I thought "Man on the Street" and "Haunted" were the most poignant of the series. My only issue with the show is Helo is a horrible, horrible actor. His wooden reading of lines didn't bother me on BSG... Here? He's awful. Simply awful. And while it goes without saying, I Amy Acker. She's spectacular, spectacular.

Simply awful. ...and he doesn't even have to deal with not having consistent character from one episode to another.

Useless bump to say that I agree with this 100%, even though I still have an awkward mancrush on Helo (but Amy knows I want to have her babies moar).
elnero Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 Just watched episode 13, now I'm even more intrigued to see where they take the show next season.
thrice Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Reminder: Season 2 of Dollhouse starts tonight on Fox in the US.
tyrion Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Reminder: Season 2 of Dollhouse starts tonight on Fox in the US. Like you have time to watch tv.
emelius Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 :sadcat:Dollhouse has been canceled...
grawk Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Where do you see that? The last thing I saw (from yesterday) was that it was doing well
emelius Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Whedonesque : Joss Whedon weblog has it... the writers found out yesterday... my sister wrote episode 8 of this season...
tkam Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Not exactly surprising, it's ratings have been abysmal.
tyrion Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 I'm part of the reason, I lost interest.
n_maher Posted November 11, 2009 Author Report Posted November 11, 2009 (edited) Not exactly surprising, it's ratings have been abysmal. What exactly were they expecting with the Friday night time slot? Maybe if they'd called it CSI Dollhouse it would have done better? Edited November 11, 2009 by n_maher
Sherwood Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Not exactly surprising, it's ratings have been abysmal. True as that may be, I'm always somewhat surprised when a show I'm enjoying gets cancelled.
elnero Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 At least they've given this a fighting chance, I really hate when shows are canceled after 2 or 3 episodes, how are they able to gauge popularity on that?
