n_maher
So Dusty's post about Whedon's upcoming online musical reminded me that I'd yet to track down the trailer for Dollhouse. I'm pretty psyched for the show so I figured I'd start a thread and post the trailer for comment. Dollhouse Trailer [edit]I guess embedded videos don't show up in the post preview. thrice
Mostly the builtin MBP ones. They rawk. If you turn them up real loud you can get a tinny rattle much like what early rock guitarists did to get distortion and that fuzz sound. thrice
There's this woman named Dollhouse and she did things. And then this family really likes Lean Cuisine and I dozed off for a moment and then Leno was talking to Alias.
Edwood
Watched it. Meh. Hopefully it gets better. But then Fox will kill it by putting it up against a #1 show.
Dusty Chalk
spoiler and i kill you.I think you and I are going to have to stop reading this thread, or we're going to have to start a Dollhouse with spoilers thread so that I can not read it. This is going to be a show that people are going to stay on top of.
NightWoundsTime
I agree that the show was a bit "meh" but the writing was quite impressive. Probably a few casting mistakes in there, especially bringing Hilo over from BSG. With the later Edward James Olmos reference it's clear that Whedon is a big BSG fan. thrice
I think it has a lot of potential. He lays down a framework for a much larger story to take place. I don't think this is going to be a show where you get pulled in instantly off the first episode.

Not only that, but he has professional ties to BSG. Jane Espenson is an executive producer for BSG and she also worked with Whedon on Buffy, Firefly and Angel (mostly Buffy). n_maher
I dunno, for a first episode I thought it did well. Heck, it's already better than any Sarah Conor episode I saw in the first two seasons of that train wreck. I give it 3 out of 4 "Grrr, Arrrgs".
