MexicanDragon Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Yes, it automatically syncs across all computers that are linked to that account. It also works on all my PCs, Macs, iPad and android phone. That's what I was thinking re: computers (and 2 gigs isn't that much space for most people most of the time, these days), but I was wondering about the phone/iPad apps. Do the files get pushed to those devices as well, or are they pulled when requested? 2 gigs is maybe a percent or two of hdd for most hard drives, but maybe 15% of an iPhone's storage. I'm not running a phone OS right now that is supported so I can't tell just yet. **BRENT**
Grahame Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 I'm really trying hard not to buy one. I don't need one, I don't need one, I don't need one. You probably don't need one, but you want one right? If they do the 30 day money back - what have you got to loose? in not - you could probably flip without too much pain. I'm suitably impressed with mine, I should post my latest thoughts/findings in the "touch" thread.

The only potential problem is that they are not really available if you are not connected. They are not pushed to the phone, and in fact I'm not really sure if you could. The files I use it for are mostly word, excel and PDF files.
Smeggy Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 I have drop box too, not gotten around to using it yet though.
jinp6301 Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Dropbox = awesome. Been using it since it came out.

mypasswordis Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Validation. I like it. Also, it seems I am now up to two friends, as I had a litttle bubble pop up saying I've been bumped up to 2.8 GB of storage. **BRENT** One of them was me.

mobayrasta Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Just tried the code and it is no longer working. Yhea me too. Bummer, was a great deal.
laxx Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Drop box is awesome. Only problem is that all my friends use it, so our codes are pretty evenly divided. I don't know how to get up to 10Gb.

grawk Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 today's woot is an xpal battery sized for netbooks etc.
morphsci Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Ordered. I'll probably use it for the evo more than anything else. It is a great device but the battery life is pretty abysmal.
Nebby Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Ordered. I'll probably use it for the evo more than anything else. It is a great device but the battery life is pretty abysmal. Picked one up as well for my cellphone. I have a terrible habit of leaving the screen on a battery draining app.
Dusty Chalk Posted August 11, 2010 Author Report Posted August 11, 2010 Hmmm...hadn't thought of that...I tend to leave mine in the google maps app all the time...

Les_Garten Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 High End Audio - High End Video - Sound by Singer WoW! Death of a Legend!
Asr Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Wow there are lots of terrific deals in the Sound by Singer demo price list, definitely worth scouring carefully! I wish I had several thousand to buy some of that stuff but have no spare monies. Damn it makes me almost want to sell my Qualia and BHSE right now!
Yikes Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Andy's the age where he was probably thinking of retiring anyway. The landlord being a dick was just enough incentive for him to pull the plug.
The Monkey Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Some good deals on Grados there. The salespeople at Singer were always dickish to me.
