Do they still work? I'd fill those bitches with epoxy and call it a day. If they're built like the se530's the housing is arbitrary since the armature drivers are completely sealed by themselves. Filling them with epoxy wouldn't change how they sound and you could probably drive over them and they'd still work.

Hmm, thats an option. I'll probably do that if my pair breaks again.

external drives (usually) dont carry as long a warranty as internals. again, usually 1 yr vs 3-5 years

Another reason I like Seagate: full 5 year warranty on all their retail drives internal and external.
