n_maher Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 this guy has spamming people, including me with this PM over at HF http://lh5.ggpht.com/_7BNrCHvfEVA/Sxync-PBthI/AAAAAAAABlw/s0GPiAvFpl8/ej.jpg Report the PM (just like you would a post) and encourage to do the same. Not much I or any other mod can do until you do that.

matt fury Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Amazon has sold that set for ~$30 every Christmas for the last few years. Awesome, and highly recommended.
deepak Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Still waiting for the BD so I can see GOB do magic in high def. I know it will never happen

Chekhonte Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Mine were shipped Thursday before noon with two day shipping. They may have actually arrived, but I doubt it. I'll check tomorrow afternoon at which point they should be here. They would have been handy on the plane. poo, mine haven't been shipped yet and I payed for next day. They must have a lot of packages to ship, or worse they over sold their supply.
Nebby Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Mine arrived today though they were originally estimated to arrive tomorrow. I do like them quite a bit, though I'm not sure about the fit, might have to pick up an assorted pack of complys to give them a try.
Chekhonte Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 That's too bad about the fit. I hope I don't have many problems with them. I have some pretty big ear canals.
n_maher Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 That's too bad about the fit. I hope I don't have many problems with them. I have some pretty big ear canals. From what I remember reading about them it's more a problem if you have smaller canals, like I do.
n_maher Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Time for customs? It's long since been time, I'm just a waffler when it comes to committing $$ to something with zero resale value.
jinp6301 Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Well, it's not $0 resale anymore due to those remolding companies. $80 + $ for impressions + your own IEMs to get a custom IEM seems like a decent deal.
laxx Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Mine finally got submitted to Logitech's site. Don't know when they'll get processed through.
Nebby Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 From what I remember reading about them it's more a problem if you have smaller canals, like I do. That's my issue. My canals are a bit on the small side, to the point where the stock tip just barely fits, but the small tip doesn't seal properly. The comply tip that it comes with (which I think is a medium) seals great but it seems to be slightly larger than perfect, so I'm hoping the small comply will fit just right
Chekhonte Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 I can't remember, do shure black olive tips fit on UE gear?
Voltron Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 I can't remember, do shure black olive tips fit on UE gear? No.
The Monkey Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Are comply tips the kind you squeeze/compress and then they expand in your ear canal?
Nebby Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Are comply tips the kind you squeeze/compress and then they expand in your ear canal? Yup [url=http://www.complyfoam.com/partner/UE/]Comply
Voltron Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 To be honest, I am not certain about the black olives on the newer UE phones, so maybe you should look for a better answer. On the other hand, why not get the Comply tips because Comply actually invented that tech and they make them specifically for UE in several sizes depending on ear canal size?
