The Monkey Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Have those of you who purchased the cases liked them?
Nebby Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Have those of you who purchased the cases liked them? They are no pelican case, but for $10 they're great cases. I like mine
Dusty Chalk Posted December 2, 2009 Author Report Posted December 2, 2009 Were these the ones that ran smaller than intuition implied?

manaox2 Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Have those of you who purchased the cases liked them? I don't much care for the foam smell, but really like the cases overall.
n_maher Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I don't much care for the foam smell, but really like the cases overall. Leave the case propped open for a few weeks, it'll mostly go away. Neither of mine smells much any more and they are great for meets if nothing else.

Chekhonte Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Amazon.com Gold Box: New Deals. Every Day. Not too bad of a price for decent quality kitchen knives. Plus they look purdy.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 Also, looks like Dollhouse (season one, presumably) will be on sale in about an hour. Don't know if it will be the DVD or the Blu-Ray, though. Might be the VHS...
Chekhonte Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 I'm too interesting in the purple geetar that's up there now to worry about dollhouse.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 "split tail" ER6i for US$63 -- easily the lowest price I've ever seen for them new.
M3NTAL Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Amazon.com Gold Box: New Deals. Every Day. Not too bad of a price for decent quality kitchen knives. Plus they look purdy. Thank you for this! I've been looking for a set to start me off with! Just purchased a home - now need to get a cutting block and holder.
Sherwood Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Skip the cutting block and get a knife bar instead. Those are really excellent knives, btw
Chekhonte Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 they are a hell of a lot better than decent, though i don't care for that handle profile. I was worried that I was going to have knife snobs berating me if I called them great or superlative so I backpeddled a little bit to avoid confrontation. I think they're great too and I would absolutely buy them if I didn't have to spend all of my free money on clay.
guzziguy Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 I mainly use Shun knives. You have to pay a lot more for the next step up. I pointed out the deal to my wife, who bought them for her father's birthday. In June!
en480c4 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 "split tail" ER6i for US$63 -- easily the lowest price I've ever seen for them new. They had them for $49 a few days ago... Didn't think to post the link here. I'm an ass, sorry. Bought a pair for the future father-in-law for Christmas... Amazon Prime w/ free 2-day shipping FTW.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 4, 2009 Author Report Posted December 4, 2009 No big, I'm not really in the market for IEM's, myself. But that was probably "black Friday good", which doesn't come along all that often.
jinp6301 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Amazon.com: Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Noise Isolating Earphones: Electronics Uhh, fucking $99. Go buy now
wrecked_porsche Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 ^ If anyone of you guys are getting one and don't mind buying another two and shipping it to me here to Malaysia, I'd be really grateful. One will be for me, the other will be for my dad. I have an amazon account and just tried to order, but they won't ship outside USA. Please?
jinp6301 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Wish I could but my CC payment didnt go though so I can only buy one
