grawk Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Not kidding, not a fan of rose gold in most situations.
n_maher Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Not kidding, not a fan of rose gold in most situations. I'm with you, I don't care for it much at all. I also find that as I get older my taste in watches gets simpler.
Sherwood Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 since I can't functionally wear copper, rose is the best I can do.
swt61 Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 I just don't wear watches much anymore. But I saw this one and loved it. I like Rose Gold too, and thought it was a nice design, so I bought it too. Usually I'm pretty conservative, but I like ornate boxer shorts and watches. A guys gotta let loose a bit somewhere.
swt61 Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Uhm, they do match the watch, but I think I'll pass.
Fitz Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 but I like ornate boxer shorts Moving away from thongs?
swt61 Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Moving away from thongs? They're not that functional on hot days.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2009 Author Report Posted October 6, 2009 Not kidding, not a fan of rose gold in most situations. That was kind of a rhetorical question -- I knew you weren't kidding, that's just my way of expressing a different taste (in colors of watches in this case). Have you seen my Nixon/Barney joint effort?
The Monkey Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Not so much a deal, but definitely NOT rose. Dusty-approved? TX 'Pilot' Watch - - Nordstrom
jinp6301 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 damn, thats a sexy watch. I wish the TX sign wasn't on it though
Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2009 Author Report Posted October 6, 2009 (edited) $575? I'm getting one ASAP. Dusty doesn't just approve, he's feeling a little tingle "down there". EDIT: Argh, too bad it's a quartz movement. Might still get it, but it's no longer ASAP. Edited October 6, 2009 by Dusty Chalk
swt61 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 But what's the sense in a watch that you can't read? I mean I can barely see the hands.
The Monkey Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 It pairs nicely with my assless chaps.
blessingx Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 This is the one I love: BELL & ROSSSame here though white hands. Closest I've got though is their iPhone app. Slightly cheaper.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2009 Author Report Posted October 6, 2009 Yeah, the Bell & Ross Phantom and something from the Hublot Big Bang series are two reasons I play the lottery. And yes, I'd get black ones with colors, too:
Hopstretch Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 It pairs nicely with my assless chaps. Go butch-er. Apparently I have bad taste. Likely due to my regrettable orientation.
Sherwood Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Apparently I have bad taste. Likely due to my regrettable orientation. That could be fixed... try one of these: I meant the bad taste, of course. This tattoo is in excellent taste.
aardvark baguette Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 I really dont like numbers mixed with hashes. Either or, not both.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2009 Author Report Posted October 6, 2009 You realize you just ruled out about 90% of all watches. Unless I'm misunderstanding you. How about hardly anything at all? I like it when it's totally confusing. E.G.:
feckn_eejit Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 That could be fixed... try one of these: I meant the bad taste, of course. This tattoo is in excellent taste.Dull. Try this... WARNING!! NOT EVEN REMOTELY SUITABLE FOR WORK!!! edit: dinny showed me this when trying to get me to lower the price on the D1 for him...........
