Sherwood Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Also, stick to the thin ones. The thick ones are generally more "brothy". I made that mistake my first go-round.
swt61 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 So do you covet the more effeminate bulls these days, or just catch 'em at the early stages of puberty?
manaox2 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Also, stick to the thin ones. The thick ones are generally more "brothy". I made that mistake my first go-round. Probably don't want to take the balls off of the best bulls for mating anyway. So do you covet the more effeminate bulls these days, or just catch 'em at the early stages of puberty? The ones they do in the Agricultural department at NCSU seem fairly full grown. Speaking of those, fistulation is pretty crazy.
Hopstretch Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Speaking of those, fistulation is pretty crazy. I am not Googling that.
Aura Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I am not Googling that. I just checked the first page of hits on google images, didn't see anything that will scar me for life. Looks like it pertains to cows mainly.

grawk Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 really, colder than you expected? My mental image of chicago is slightly colder than fairbanks
morphsci Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I think your mental image needs a bit of tweaking. Chicago is not colder than Fairbanks.
grawk Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 It may not be colder on paper, but there's no wind in fairbanks
Augsburger Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 really, colder than you expected? My mental image of chicago is slightly colder than fairbanks Well when I was in high school I moved from Honolulu to Chicago in January, and Chicago seemed as cold as the planet Neptune would be.
Dusty Chalk Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 I can't think of a more radical switch -- and while a teenager! (presumably) -- that musta been depressing.
Augsburger Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 The first month of walking to school in near zero weather seemed like a Gulag death march.
Dusty Chalk Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 And you had to walk to school! Back before I got married, my ex and I went to Illinois to meet some relatives (some of hers, some of mine). Took her to the Sears Tower, because she had never been. The visibility that day? Zero. We went up anyway. It was really a couple feet, but all you could see was an endless morass of swirling snow in every direction. Kind of eery, when you thought about the fact that it really did keep going, just like it looked like it did. But just like the optical illusion -- is the girl twirling clockwise or counterclockwise -- we could just as easily have been in a box in a box, like a huge knick-knack.
