swt61 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Bummer - missed out on the watch, but I could get a pedi-paws pet nail trimmer instead. I wanted one of those too. That site may become addictive.

screaming oranges Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 That site should just be bookmarked and checked daily (it's what I do).
swt61 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 That site should just be bookmarked and checked daily (it's what I do). Ditto, as of yesterday.
MoonShine Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I ordered one and I don't even HAVE an ipod or iphone.
screaming oranges Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 You guys remember that xpal battery thing everyone bought prior to Canjam? Were those any good?
tyrion Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Alex, I've used mine a couple of times to charge my iphone and it worked fine.
grawk Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Mine works great, I use them regularly.

Chekhonte Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I use my xpal all the time since I regularly forget to charge my phone, ipod, among other doodads. I bought 3 and they all work well. It takes a long time to actually charge the battery, around 6 hours I would guess. That's my only complaint.

I really enjoy having at least two so that I can switch between to charge the dead pack.
Chekhonte Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 One thing I forgot to mention about the xpal for those who have them. You can use an ipod wallwart with a normal USB cable or USB "B" phone charger to charge your xpal. It charges marginally faster than charging via USB with your computer. Another reason to by a baker's dozen of those iPod chargers for 5 bucks. EDIT: They also work well with portable amps that can charge via USB like my icon mobile. I just keep an xpal plugged into mine if I have an extra long day ahead of me.

CD44hi Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 You guys remember that xpal battery thing everyone bought prior to Canjam? Were those any good? yep, use them all the time with a nokia phone, a nokia tablet and an ipod. They work great IME.
grawk Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Today's watch.chronoshark.com should be dusty approved. It's not all black, it's wine and black, which is how dusty was dressed 80% of the times I've seen him.
Aura Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 1 Sale A Day, Daily Deal Is this Bravia pretty solid for the price? That's a pretty huge drop from the retail price.
Chekhonte Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 I can't imagine that it's bad considering that LCD technology hasn't improved tremendously in the past few years.
manaox2 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 1 Sale A Day, Daily Deal Is this Bravia pretty solid for the price? That's a pretty huge drop from the retail price. slickdeals had it for $150 less at $649 a month ago. http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/23183 Bravia is pretty solid.
Aura Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 slickdeals had it for $150 less at $649 a month ago. Sony Bravia KDL-40S5100 40" 1080p LCD HDTV $669 or $649 - Slickdeals.net Bravia is pretty solid. Was gonna say, it didn't appear any cheaper on slickdeals right now.
laxx Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 It was $750 last week, so I wouldn't say it's a great deal.
