Mine were about that old. I had to replace them a few years ago as one of the cats chewed through the cable and they weren't replaceable. swt61 Posted October 25, 2020 Report Posted October 25, 2020 So my Etymotic ER4XR IEM's arrived today. Listening now and they sound great. Glad I went with the XR edition. Best bass I've heard out of Etymotics, but not at all bloated. Still a bit bass shy IMO, but much better than the S or P versions. The aluminum housings also just give a more quality feel.
