I'm starting to dig these Amazon cheapies. Even if they never make to collection, fun to stream from phones Amazon Cloud Player. Also... Tari
Good stuff. If you hadn't used the HEARTMP3 code yet it comes out to a buck. I still mainly purchase used-like new CD's on Amazon or "lots" on Ebay (or occasionally Craigslist) which tend to also be good deals but that's all a crapshoot - items can be in worse condition than described, or in one "100 Jazz CD's" lot case, a couple Miles Davis Cd's on top with about 85 copies of Kenny G's Miracles: The Holiday Albums underneath. With digital at least you get exactly what you wanted. Edited July 11, 2012 by Tari

blessingx
Sparrow is $4.99 for a bit, if anyone on OS X is looking for an email client (arguably better than Mail.app for Gmail, etc.). http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id417250177?mt=

blessingx
Notifications/retrieval timing (instant), starring, labels and possibly deletion handling (at least if using Gmail). I think because it started as a Gmail frontend most of its defaults (and there aren't many setting adjustments) were created with that service in mind. Reportedly works well with other IMAPs too, but all my accounts are there. blessingx
ok, I bought both the imac and iphone versions Let us know how the iPhone app works out. With Apple defaults pretty locked down (thus all email links) I didn't know if any non-Apple mail would work there.

Tari
The ESP950's were available on Amazon recently for $550-600 new for a while, but they seemed to have jumped back up very recently. At the current new price it's an OK price used if it's in the condition he claims it is.
grawk
The great thing about esp950s tho is it doesn't matter what condition they're in. At least I've always had great luck exchanging them with Koss.

Tari
Interesting. The limited lifetime warranty specifically excludes anyone who is not the initial user from the warranty, but I guess in practice they don't care.
grawk
if they did care, there'd be exactly 0 chance I'd buy a pair used, since they flake out pretty regularly.
spritzer
Yeah, ineffective dustcovers and the cable entry is too cramped leading to arcing issues. Still I want to buy one and tinker with the amp a bit...
