Dusty Chalk Posted June 26, 2012 Author Report Posted June 26, 2012 Woot-off, currently there's a BOC -- I never understood the appeal of these things...
grawk Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 The bag of crap sometimes contains cool stuff, and almost always contains way more value than you pay for. In the past, people have gotten 60" HDTVs, for example.
Tari Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Ordered that online Louis CK special for $5 earlier this year. Got an email - he's doing a new tour with all tickets sold online through his site. $45 anywhere. 2nd row front and center at the Riverside for $45. Not bad.

grawk Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 I've never gotten a bag of crap that wasn't at least nominally worth significantly more than the contents.
justin Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 in Japan Apple has "bag of craps" which maybe is actually something other stores do there too? they cant do it in the USA though because too many assholes would ruin it
blessingx Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Japan also has street-side half keg vending machines. U.S. assholes, why do you get in the way?
justin Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 ah, here it is: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Apples-Lucky-Bag-promotion-draws-crowds-in-Japan_id25332/ attempting this in the USA would result in: - trampling deaths - robbing the guy who got the better bag - returning any bag that wasn't profitable - lawsuits - employees buying all the good bags before the store opens

deepak Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 30% off at Koss website with summer30 (free shipping) Makes KSC35 little over $30
livewire Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Still better than the $1K they've been advertising them for lately. Almost as good as the good ol days... FWIW, a seller on ebay has had ten new sets at this price for a while now but they dont seem to be moving. Edited June 28, 2012 by livewire
Dusty Chalk Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Posted June 28, 2012 Well they're definitely not moving now. If someone is in the market, they should point out to the seller that that's what Koss is selling them for right now for new, warranty, etc. At worst, you've let him know how steep his competition is, and he can take them off the market until later.

Tari Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 (edited) Ryan Adams Live After Deaf Boxset (174 Songs) 8.99 Amazon MP3 This is $120 on iTunes and about $9 an album separate on Amazon MP3, so it may be a temporary pricing error that won't last long. Edited July 2, 2012 by Tari
MexicanDragon Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Crap... bought it, but thought it was BRYAN Adams. Oh well, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the heads-up. **BRENT**
tyrion Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Bought it. Brent, be happy, Ryan Adams > Bryan Adams.
MexicanDragon Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Heh. So I hear. Plus, I hate Canadians (except the fictional Robin Scherbotsky from "How I Met Your Mother"). Portishead - Dummy is on sale for 3.99$ on Google Play (320kbps). I never bought this for some reason, so I remedied that. The Black Keys - Brothers is on sale for 2.99$ on Amazon right now as well. I gotta stop looking at this stuff. Staying home from work is a a great way to get new music, though. **BRENT**
