Voltron Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 I think I have Red Clay and Sugar on old vinyl, but I am tempted anyway.
blessingx Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 This Pop Market thing is starting to seem not very friendly towards my paycheck.
Voltron Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Yeah, I ordered it too. I will sit on these two deals and see if they deliver, however.
blessingx Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 For the record the Wilco trio shipped a couple weeks after order as did The Strokes set (which I'm not sure why I bought). It's just they set expectations of 1-2 days, which has continued to cause JHA-style complaints. Waits listed 11/7 and this 11/9. Lets see if they hit those targets, though they would be inline with what I've experienced so far.

deepak Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Sorry to be potentially emptying the wallets of you fellows further, but this is IMO a good deal on the preorder for Jethro Tull Aqualung 40th Anniversary edition: $74 + shipping, when amazon and others are still $100+ http://www.importcds...-Anniversary-CD What it comes with: http://www.j-tull.co...tors/index.html Pretty tempting, but I think I will do with just the Blu-Ray to hear Steven Wilson's remix in high res stereo/surround.

Thanks. I've been wanting this but it was a bit too dear. Much better at this price.
deepak Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Thanks. I've been wanting this but it was a bit too dear. Much better at this price. Umm... holy shit the remix sounds good, you're gonna love it. Aqualung sounded dead compared to their other albums, but the remix makes it sound so good. The drums just slam and the bass is nice and defined. Now I'm tempted to order it since the Blu-Ray isn't available separately

Knuckledragger Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 The gorram Firefly series in on sale at Amazon. $18 for Bluray or $15 for DVD. Shiny.
Salt Peanuts Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Damn, that's a really good price on Firefly. Too bad I already own a copy.
RudeWolf Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Not sure about the P&S. It shouldn't be too bad, for P&S I mostly trust Canon. The new ones have really good low light capabilities and optics are quite good. Most importantly- they are very small. No use buying a small sensor in a large camera.
blessingx Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Last couple P&Ss have been Lumix. Maybe not the best in low light, but overall I think good features, glass, etc. for price point.
