Dusty Chalk Posted March 9, 2011 Author Report Posted March 9, 2011 It's funny, Dr. Wood became a better name for him after he came out. Serendipity? Or do you think you just subconsciously already knew?
Dusty Chalk Posted March 10, 2011 Author Report Posted March 10, 2011 Use mah link -- I just got two vouchers for $60 worth of tea for $25.
grawk Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 $69 for a nice looking black and blue watch from skagen
Nebby Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Wow, I like that Skagen! Thanks for the link
Dusty Chalk Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Trying to order it, but it's not working.
skullguise Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 That IS nice, nothing super-special about the Skagen's but I like them. I have the charcoal face/no date Titianium model, my wife and I got matching ones in Aruba when we traveled there. We spent about $100 on each....and then she lost hers

grawk Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 http://www.chronoshark.com/] Nice looking watch with a sapphire crystal for $100
Absorbine_Sr Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Everyone needs this $4.99 shovel. I'm holding out for the EdipisReks Signature Model.
tyrion Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I'm guessing it will be Japanese, Damascus steel and real sharp.

Absorbine_Sr Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Emotiva sale. UPA-1: Sale price: $299 (Normally $349) UPA-2: Sale price: $349 (Normally $389) USP-1: Sale price: $399 ( Normally $449) XDA-1: $299 (Normally $349) Thanks. Will pull the trigger on the XDA-1 now.
blessingx Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) Two UPA-1s and a XDA-1 might make a nice little $900 mono-block system, no? Really loved the RPA-2 when I had it. Edit: For those ordering the DAC I wonder if we can pick either volume setting (depending if you want a linear increase)? Edit edit: The few UPA-1 non-Emotiva board reviews I've found haven't been the most positive. Edited March 19, 2011 by blessingx
Absorbine_Sr Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 For those ordering the DAC I wonder if we can pick either volume setting (depending if you want a linear increase)? I don't think it matters to me as I will not be using it as a preamp.
HDen Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 I've got an XDA-1, it's built solid, works nicely as a cheap DAC but the volume control on it isn't very good, with the XPA-2>MMG setup I can never get the exact volume I want, it's also very big so I don't really see it as a desk dac for anyone wondering...
Augsburger Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) 300 donuts free with purchase of 3600. I sense a Krispy Kreme group buy. Edited March 19, 2011 by Augsburger
shellylh Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Think I am going to order an XDA-1 to use with the Audioengine A5 in the bedroom. Any reason not to? Thanks Ric.

Dusty Chalk Posted March 20, 2011 Author Report Posted March 20, 2011 What do you mean, "mostly"? I actually have quite a few watches with that general color scheme (white numerals, hands, on black face, with black case & band). And I especially like the carbon fiber. And the large case, yet with a lack of the huge canteen knob that the Russian divers have. Very nice. If I didn't have a moratorium on watch-buying, I might buy one, too.
grawk Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 32gb ipod touch (current) for 229 8gb ipod touch (current) for $179
