Knuckledragger Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Welcome to Steam Under 2 hours left on the current Steam sale (then another one starts) The Indie Story pack for $5 is an effing STEAL, and DefenseGrid is a killer tower defense adaption. I hear AudioSurf is a silly fun, but I have not played it. Kane & Lynch is reportedly abysmal.
Knuckledragger Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 ^^ The new deals are up. Machinarium for $5. Seriously one of the best games I've played this year. The soundtrack by Thomas Dovorak (aka Floex) is pretty excellent too. So good that I might be willing to furnish FLACs to any interested parties.

mrarroyo Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 I went to buy the TripleFi 10 for $99 but they are not in stock. May still order them even if it takes a month to arrive.
jinp6301 Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 I just missed them too. I still ordered a pair for my dad

Asr Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 I'm guessing these will be good through 12/4 because a few other resellers are posting similar (but higher) prices until then: Photoshop CS5 - $561 @ Amazon: Amazon.com: Adobe Photoshop CS5: Windows: Software Lightroom 3 - $150 @ Amazon: Amazon.com: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3: Windows: Software

Knuckledragger Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Mitsubishi 60-inch 1080p 3D Home Cinema TV $599.99 MITSUBISHI ELECTRONICS Mitsubishi 60" 120Hz 1080p 3D Ready home Cinema DLP HDTV : TVs: Big Flat screen TVs, HD LCD and Plasma TVs & TV Accessories | Dell Jeezus. Is there something glaringly wrong with that model (or rear projection DLP in general) or is that a stupidly good price?
deepak Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Jeezus. Is there something glaringly wrong with that model (or rear projection DLP in general) or is that a stupidly good price? The replacement bulbs are probably 1/4 cost of the TV. Maybe more when they go OOP.
Knuckledragger Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 The replacement bulbs are probably 1/4 cost of the TV. Maybe more when they go OOP. Amazon.com: Mitsubishi 915B441001 with Housing: Electronics Looks to be that way.
HeadphoneAddict Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Re: cost of bulbs - My Sony XBR 42" RPTV bulb is going on 5 years and for a while 6 months ago it wouldn't start up on the first try, but for the past 4-5 months it's been okay and just slow to hit full brightness. My 4 year old 60" Panasonic RPTV Warns me it's time to change the bulb (has an hour timer), but it still works fine. A $100-140 bulb will get me several more years from these TVs. Back then these TVs were 4x the cost of this new one, so for the money you still get a lot of TV now (Especially if you need 60").
Dusty Chalk Posted November 30, 2010 Author Report Posted November 30, 2010 In just under 10 hours (so...2-something, EST?), Etymotic ER-6i's will be going on sale for some unknown price (presumably less than their regular $73 price) at Amazon as part of their cyber week promotion. (I'm guessing Cyber Monday didn't go well enough for them, so they brought out some more deals.)
