Augsburger Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 I can't comment on that. Just that FB=HOTW (Hype of the week) Weak joke I know. Quote

justin Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 Facebook is reading this thread.. i just started taking advantage of a free facebook advertising credit. it costs about $1 to get a person to Like my page, and of the 900 million FB accounts, about 5,600 are appropriate for me to target. 1 Quote
MexicanDragon Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 Sweet. I saw you had started advertising on there, and it seems that about 5 people "I" know have liked it. G'luck with that. **BRENT** Quote
Augsburger Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 I like you, does that count? Where do I send my dollar? Quote

justin Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 where does everyone go for cheap but decent quality cables these days? Quote
Knuckledragger Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) Monoprice for just about everything that's not analog audio, and Blue Jeans for that. EDIT: I should add that this eBay seller makes really good balanced cables, and is probably cheaper than BJC. Edited May 19, 2012 by Knuckledragger Quote
recstar24 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 I concur on all the above recommendations. Quote
deepak Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Not a fan of Monoprice XLR cables. Their XLR connectors have some thick paint (appears powder coated) applied to them. One cable barely fit in my male and female Neutrik panel mount. On another cable I had to shave off the paint on both the male and female connector to fit. I don't see why they don't just leave them bare, it would save them money too. Quote
recstar24 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 The heels 6 guy is really easy to work with on custom stuff. He made me a 4 pin xlr headphone extension for sub BJC price Quote
morphsci Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 @Deepak - Markertek is awesome on balanced cables since most of their business is pro audio. Quote

MexicanDragon Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Google Play is offering a lot of decent albums (and some probably crap) for 2.99$ for 320k MP3. Smashing Pumpkins - Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness Daft Punk - Tron: Legacy Beastie Boys - Paul's Botique Jay-Z/Kanye West - Watch The Throne Coldplay - Mylo Xylo Lana Del Rey - Born To Die And a bunch of others. I don't know how I was a teenager in the 90s and didn't own Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness, but I figure I'll own it in about 3 minutes. **BRENT** Quote
