luvdunhill
tkam: is it possible to PM a .pdf or other attachment?
tkam
hmm, there is a mod available to allow attachments in pm's but it's nearly two years old, not sure i want to bother trying it.
aardvark baguette
I would think that would be bad for your server, as I doubt many of the attachments would be non-audio related

Keep that shit off HC servers. We don't want the tkam behind bars. Edited June 19, 2008 by n_maher
JBLoudG20
Umm, what happened to the edit function? I wanted to add a smiley to the last message, and I got nothin.
n_maher
I'm guessing that Todd clamped down on the edit window. Although less than 1min seems rather short. P.s. I added a smiley for you, who knows if it's the right one.

Pars
not touching that post above me When I click on threads that I have read, they do not go to the last page or preferably the first unread post automatically. Is this something I can configure, or?? Chris

Pars
yes OK... I'm not seeing it. How?
aardvark baguette
User CP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Thread Display Mode Linear - Newest First. I tried it, but it was cramping my style, so I go chronologically.
Pars
Yes, I tried that as well. It lists the posts in reverse order. I was thinking more along the lines of (from the thread modes help text): The administrator can also set up the forums so that each thread you read is marked in the database. If this option is set, then new threads (or threads with new posts) will not be marked as read until you have actually read them.
aardvark baguette
I think I misunderstood your first post. Yeah, to my knowledge, there isnt anything exactly like the 'view unread' of the old software. I just always click on "new posts", until I figure out something better. aardvark baguette
Forgot to mention, look for this just below the new threads: The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts.

Is this something I can configure, or??Actually, that's largely a function of where you click. If you click on the right, in the column where it says 'last post', on the right-arrow, it'll take you to the last post. If you click on the left, where the down-arrow is, it should take you to the last unread post. Grawk had a picture of this, I believe. Pars
it appears that if I click on the check mark to the left of the thread title that it does what I want (I think?)
Dusty Chalk
You mean, down-arrow, yes, that is what I was trying to say, when I said, "triangle". (I've since fixed my post.)
Nenso
will we be getting buttons that do etc? I don't remember all the codes so it is pretty difficult to do some things. Let me know if it is actually there because I do not see it.
