Dusty Chalk Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Fixing the spoiler tags is probably more important than the skins, as I can probably accomplish what I want with Stylish.
Fitz Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I no longer have my MOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOTMOT status, guess I'm an ordinary DIYer now. :-/ Goddamnit. I should've known better.
Dusty Chalk Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I hope this is all some sick Friday the 13th joke >_<No, it should read, "hopes this is all some sick Friday the 13th joke".
spritzer Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Goddamnit. I should've known better. Btw. Is there a feature in the vB so that we can quote posts from inside the "reply to thread" screen as was possible on the old software?
Dusty Chalk Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Yeah, use the multi-quote button (lower right of post) and quick-reply (at bottom of page).
spritzer Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Yeah, use the multi-quote button (lower right of post) and quick-reply (at bottom of page). I know about those but the other feature was really growing on me. Ohh well, you can't have everything.
The Monkey Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I think it ate all the non-mod/admin custom titles. Looks like that got remedied pretty quickly.
n_maher Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Yes, it seems those at the helm are enjoying recreating the custom titles of old and adding some new ones too.
luvdunhill Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I'd like to add a DIY video to the downloads section.. is this possible for me to do?
aerius Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 My avatar refuses to show up for me. It loads up fine on the User CP panel, but not on any of my actual posts on the forum. Reload, clearing cache, and the other usual browser reset tricks don't work.
tkam Posted June 13, 2008 Author Report Posted June 13, 2008 You setup your profile picture, not your avatar.
Fitz Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Yes, it seems those at the helm are enjoying recreating the custom titles of old and adding some new ones too. Yeah, so now that you're operating officially as SuckItALO, wanna put in an offer for the .com?
aerius Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 You setup your profile picture, not your avatar. That explains that little issue...
Salt Peanuts Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Yes, it seems those at the helm are enjoying recreating the custom titles of old and adding some new ones too. I like your new ones, Nate.
Beefy Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 This would have to be the most slick forum transition that I've ever experienced. Top marks to the people who made it happen!
tkam Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Fixing the spoiler tags is probably more important than the skins, as I can probably accomplish what I want with Stylish. spoiler tags are working again though instead of hide/unhide buttons it now works via a mouseover: i am batman [ spoiler]text to hide here [/spoiler ]
boomana Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 This would have to be the most slick forum transition that I've ever experienced. Top marks to the people who made it happen! Yes, nice job and I'm sure alot of work Todd! Yep. Thanks, Todd. Oh, and is that the kitten you got a little bit ago in your avatar? She's beautiful.
tkam Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Yep. Thanks, Todd. Oh, and is that the kitten you got a little bit ago in your avatar? She's beautiful. Yep that's her during one of her sleepy times. She wasn't too happy when the flash went off
Dusty Chalk Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 i am batmanOh, damn, I didn't know that. Am I the last one to find out? No wonder the transition was so smoov.
Bigguy Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 This format looks vaguely familiar to me. I have seen it somewhere before.
riceboy Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Great job on the new site migration Tkam. The one thing I noticed is that the "New Posts" doesn't show the sticky threads, but when you click "Quick Links" and then select "Today's Posts" it shows the sticky threads. No biggie, but I thought you might want to know
