riceboy Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Eros Ramazzotti, but there is no chance he would ever come to Chicago and there is little chance I would do Roma, but even smaller chance of him playing a show there while i would be there... I think he did Florida or Cali once, but thats the spanish Eros, I want to see the Italian Eros so i could sing along to songs i have no idea what the words mean.. Jacintha would be a good live performence also, in the right building that is. does she even tour? Depeche Mode, and New order would be on my list.. Neil Diamond always looked like a fun show, the hard part is finding a chick my age and fun enough to just rock out with his songs. others would be Prince artists that are dead.. Rat Pack in Vegas, Barry White in his day Marvin Gaye Dule Ellington Alberta hunter real Zeppelin Metallica with Mustaine Ray Charles.. Hell yeah I would love to see Rat Pack in Vegas and Sinatra in Vegas. Also Ella Fitzgerald for sure and if paired with Louis that would be a plus
kpeezy Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I get to knock quite a few bands off my list at Lollapalooza this year but I'll put them down anyways. Broken Social Scene The National Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Belle and Sebastian Daft Punk Guided By Voices Interpol Les Savy Fav Maps and Atlases Mogwai Menomena Modest Mouse My Morning Jacket Neko Case (solo) Pavement ( ) The Shins The Walkmen
Duggeh Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 but if today didn't happen, then tomorrow, yesterday didn't happen If today did not happen there cannot be a tomorrow, thus, no today as yesterday as much as today as today, ergo, the only day is yesterday until today happens, however, yesterday cannot be as yesterday until today, except, today did not happen, sum conclusion, as Adams said "Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.", solution of the imbalance, we all go down the pub and drink as if there's no tomorrow.
Dusty Chalk Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I have to agree that I'd love to see Devo live at some point, too, but I think the best chance I got is Devo 2.0. If we're going to go fantastical, I would add: Heifetz and Hendrix.
dreamwhisper Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Space Tribe Menog Psysex Transdriver Electric Universe nystagmus (soon!! :D) VIBESQUAD, PENDULUM (sorry getting a little excited for shambhalamusicfestival.com) John Coltrane Yusef Lateef Pharoah Sanders, any other avant garde tenor greats I'm certainly forgetting Oscar Peterson Trio Ray Brown Trio Wynton Marsalis Hmmm, I'd also like to see Dispatch, TOOL, Dimmu Borgir, Haha shit I'd pay to see an undead John Coltrane play sax, if anyone wants to ressurect him.
