JimP
neither - both have ripped off KC - check it, SPLHCB album cover - Beatles stole those costume ideas from KC. And the Stones blatantly copied their songs.
JBLoudG20
As on who does not listen to pop music I stand by my vote. Given a choice between nothing, the Beatles or the Stones it would be a toss up between the Beatles and nothing. I've heard a lot of the Beatles catalog and what can I say, not much of it does much for me. x2. Give me silence.

aardvark baguette
I've heard a lot of the Beatles catalog and what can I say, not much of it does much for me. Well I can respect that then. Disagree strongly, but still respect it.
aardvark baguette
MP3 samples or it doesn't exist. We'll see. Gotta consult the grand wizard of MonoBeatleVille first
grawk
What I appreciate about the beatles is they managed to sell a shitload of crap to a bunch of people. Then later, they wrote some ok stuff, but none of it reached the level of genius.
aardvark baguette
none of it reached the level of genius. Ehh, I may be inclined to agree with that. But certainly listenable, no doubt
en480c4
I grew up with my dad listening to two bands a ton. One (The Eagles) I still love hearing to this day. The other (The Beatles) still leaves me cold.

grawk
yah, gotta love itunes random , but I leave itunes playing continuously, I don't listen to everything that gets played. I'd skip any beatles that came up while I was paying attention.

JimP
alright, I voted for the Stones, they actually put on a good live show - Mick Jagger's a wanker but I'm a big fan of Keith Richards. (I digress, but one of my all-time favorite songs is a duet between Tom Waits and Keith Richards -- 'That Feel' on Bone Machine. They never have this song as a karaoke selection, because I think I can sing this one...two donkeys braying, awesome)

boomana
Sticky Fingers, Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Exile on Mainstreet...I'm an unashamed Stones fan, minus what happened to them in the 80s.
grawk
the Beatles haterslovers in here are kind of like the RSA fans over there. Fixed that for you
deepak
The Beatles for me. I don't like or dislike the Stones, their music just wasn't for me.
Pars
Same as Deepak, though the only Stones I really like was the 66-69 period. Hate their '70s stuff, out to current pretty much.
guzziguy
I prefer the Beatles to the Stones. They were a hugely revolutionary band in their day and I love their music. I love the Stones too and would have checked a "Complete Win" selection had there been one.
