en480c4 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I dislike both equally... How can I vote for both?
postjack Posted June 6, 2008 Author Report Posted June 6, 2008 I dislike both equally... How can I vote for both? the answer is beatles.
ojnihs Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 i don't really listen to either band, but if i had to pick, it'd be the beatles
n_maher Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I dislike both equally... How can I vote for both? I think you'll find the poll agreeable.
postjack Posted June 6, 2008 Author Report Posted June 6, 2008 I think you'll find the poll altered by a mod(t) I can name at least one place this would never happen.
JBLoudG20 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I dislike both equally... How can I vote for both? x2
JBLoudG20 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I can name at least one place this would never happen. Does that place still exist?
Duggeh Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Of the two I'd pick the beatles, but theres a hundred other bands I'd pick first.
grawk Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I sometimes listen to the stones voluntarily. I almost never listen to the beatles voluntarily.
n_maher Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Does that place still exist? It will always exist, if only in our hearts. And I never voluntarily listen to either. Beatallica is as close as you'll find me.
n_maher Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 i was kicked in the head by a pony, not a mule. This one?
en480c4 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Beatallica is as close as you'll find me. Beatallica FTW!
ojnihs Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 the center right one. if I had to get kicked in the head by a pony, i'd want that one to kick me
aardvark baguette Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Beatles. I'm surprised disappointed at the ramped hatred for Beatles here. They have some great albums, and great songs that aren't usually heard on the radio. I'd suggest actually hearing an entire album by the band before casually dismissing them, if you haven't already. Don't go into it expecting Slayer or 2LiveCrew, and you should be able to appreciate at least some of the breadth of their work. Much of the pop music you all listen to today was already written by the Beatles, so you like them whether you realize it or not I'm not a huge Stones fan, but I can respect their contribution to music. And I see its only fitting we are talking 'bout horses, ponies, etc, since McJagger looks like a fuggin' donkey.
en480c4 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 <snip> and you should be able to appreciate at least some of the breadth of their work. <snip> I've heard whole albums. I can appreciate what they did and how and when they did it... I just can't listen to them. Much of the pop music you all listen to today was already written by the Beatles, so you like them whether you realize it or not Which is why I don't listen to much of today's pop music either
GPH Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I like the Beatles, but they sound awful on headphones. On the other hand, you'd have to pay me to listen to a full Stones record.

ojnihs Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 You're not listening to the right Beatles the vocals on one side and instruments on the other bugs the shit out of me
n_maher Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Don't go into it expecting Slayer or 2LiveCrew, and you should be able to appreciate at least some of the breadth of their work.As a 2LiveCrew fan I'm offended. Much of the pop music you all listen to today was already written by the Beatles, so you like them whether you realize it or not As on who does not listen to pop music I stand by my vote. Given a choice between nothing, the Beatles or the Stones it would be a toss up between the Beatles and nothing. I've heard a lot of the Beatles catalog and what can I say, not much of it does much for me.
