Tyll Hertsens Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Man are you going to be scaring the hell out of a bunch of teenage boys around 2026 or so. In the mean time, congrats Naaman. You won't believe how much you can love somebody once you hold your new daughter. And this ... you have no idea. Enjoy!
bozebuttons Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Conrats Naaman,Enjoy it! Good Luck Bigguy,Sorry to hear it.
manaox2 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Found out I am having a daughter. Exciting and scary all at the same time. Wow, that is big news! congrats! Ugh, and a big get well soon to those with all those with the doctor's visits and sickness. I've also had a rough cold this week with on and off fevers and loss of appetite, yesterday especially was not fun.
Augsburger Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Congrats Naaman! Think of the fun you will have building her crib/bed with built in BH amp and such. Kids are great, will keep you young and add a very different perspective to life. Congrats again and looking forward to toasting her arrival.
tyrion Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Kids are great, will keep you young and add a very different perspective to life. Congrats again and looking forward to toasting her arrival. Keep you young? Really? After my kids were born, the years past so fast I feel like they it just a matter of time before they are dropping me off at the nursing home.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Tried to review couple of documents that were due to me at 9am yesterday, only to find they're not complete. It's my fault for not getting around to checking them yesterday, but it's still aggravating.
guzziguy Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Congratulations Naaman! Congrats Naaman, from one new dad to another it's a hell of a fun trip. And I'd pay more attention to stocking the bar than the humi, you'll need the booze to take the edge off. Yeah, a little booze and they quiet right down. Sorry to hear about unemployment Bigguy. I hope that your time on it is very short.
justin Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Keep you young? Really? After my kids were born, the years past so fast I feel like they it just a matter of time before they are dropping me off at the nursing home. now i know where to hold the next Florida meet
NightWoundsTime Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Florida has some nursing homes large enough to host CanJam.
grawk Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 So does that mean vicki's hosting next year?
n_maher Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Took Lily to her first haircut which consequently meant that she got her first lollypop. She did much better than expected.
mrarroyo Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Went out to Tree Top Park in West Broward County to participate in Water Matters Day, a "tree hugger" event where conservation, and "green" alternatives are presented to the public at large. We (City of Fort Lauderdale) had a pavilion w/ a presentation. Water Matters
Knuckledragger Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Woke up to a power failure, which lasted approximately 2 hours. When the power came back on half an hour ago, my new stove (purchased on Monday) started beeping. None of its controls respond, and NOTHING WILL STOP THE BEEPING short of throwing the breaker in the basement. Both of Frigidaire's support #s are not answering the phone monkey at the appliance store knew nothing. I am now without a stove for the indefinite future, and have no recourse until Monday morning. I am going to stage a mini-Columbine massacre, BRB.
Tyll Hertsens Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) Got the electrical shit working on my CB360 rebuild. (Hmm..can I embed videos here?) Edited March 13, 2010 by Tyll Hertsens
Salt Peanuts Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Just came back from a 7-hour childbirth class at a local hospital. It wasn't as informative/helpful as we had hoped. At least we got to tour the maternity ward and whatnot again.
Emooze Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Replaced the turntable motor on the microwave.

aardvark baguette Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Had my first FiveGuys burger today. Through grease and bacon, I have now transcended time and space.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Just found out the vent pipe in the kitchen ceiling has been very slowly leaking, damaging one of the new cabinets that were installed only couple of months ago. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
tkam Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Spent the day buying paint and using said paint in the master bedroom and living room in my new place. Painting sucks.
Hopstretch Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Just found out the vent pipe in the kitchen ceiling has been very slowly leaking, damaging one of the new cabinets that were installed only couple of months ago.
