Duggeh Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Spent 10 hours with my head in dull books. Went for a pint. Bumped into a friend from high school I hadn't spoken to in 3 years. Shot a lot of shit. Came home and had a cocktail. Seem to be being flirted at on facebook by a 16 year old friend of my brother.
tyrion Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Gave a seminar for a client, worked a little and watched my son's lacrosse team get their asses kicked.

n_maher Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Problem for you, but of great potential benefit to the rest of us. Indeed. I don't like buying cheap tools and when it comes to mills even the cheap stuff is $$$. And that's ignoring tooling...
Duggeh Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Ages of consent in Europe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It wouldn't matter if she was 16, 26 or 36. It aint happening.
shellylh Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Forgot to uninstall my patches before letting Palm update my Pre to WebOS 1.4. My phone was completely f***ed up - wouldn't connect to wifi, was really slow for some reason... Spent all morning/afternoon wiping it clean and reinstalling WebOS with WebOS Doctor. Now I am trying to get MyTether back working since I am traveling tomorrow and would like to have some internet while in transit. What a PITA!
n_maher Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 My wife took me out to brunch for my birthday at the Wentworth Hotel. The meal consisted of good coffee, a few mimosas, a danish, yogurt with fruit and granola, an omelet (ham, peppers and cheese), some bacon, some sausage, a croissant, a waffle, stuffed french toast, and I finished with Key Lime pie. I am a fat bastard, but a happy fat bastard.
agile_one Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Nice, Nate. Bet the Wentworth is beautiful in the snow.
n_maher Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Nice, Nate. Bet the Wentworth is beautiful in the snow. No snow, it was 55 and sunny today and felt way more like May than March.
n_maher Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 You have a very thoughful wife Nate. Indeed, she rocks.
luvdunhill Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 I did a small restoration on a Suck It ALO original amplifier. Sounds fantastic Also, packed about 50 boxes.
mypasswordis Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 It wouldn't matter if she was 16, 26 or 36. It aint happening. What about 6, 46, or 56?
Duggeh Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 "Yes, no and no, respectively." would be the stock interwebs answer.

mypasswordis Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 I'd use that pic way too often for my/its own good. It's good to know you have standards. I have a friend who jokes about 8 months old to 80yo being his range.
guzziguy Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Ordered two inexpensive Best wall-hugging recliners.
swt61 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 I want Nate's breakfast! That sounds fantastic! Kudos to your lovely wife, she does indeed rock Sir!
Salt Peanuts Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Just finished setting up a pair of Boston Acoustics bookshelves I bought from Nate with my ancient NAD receiver at work. Now I don't have to use crappy iPod dock speakers at work!

Salt Peanuts Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Howzit sound Salty? Me likey, Nate. They actually sound better than I was expecting (especially for such small speakers) and so far, Mr. Zevon and Ms. Spektor have come through nice and clear.

I was always pretty impressed with them but I don't trust my ears as much more than hum detectors.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I was always pretty impressed with them but I don't trust my ears as much more than hum detectors. I'll eventually get some cheapo stands to raise/angle them up a bit since they're just sitting on my desk right now.
