Hopstretch Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Set up a new tonearm, cart and phono stage. Sweated bullets, but didn't lunch anything.
Voltron Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Had meeting with the City at which we basically secured victory in our three-year campaign to save the creek. I feel a few thousand pounds lighter. Congrats! Set up a new tonearm, cart and phono stage. Sweated bullets, but didn't lunch anything. Congrats!
n_maher Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 I guess I officially became a bootlegger since I illegally shipped booze cleaning fluid across state lines. I don't feel bad, FedEx didn't ask what was in the box so I didn't offer.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Q: Anything perishable? A: Everything perishes, eventually.
manaox2 Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Had meeting with the City at which we basically secured victory in our three-year campaign to save the creek. I feel a few thousand pounds lighter. Congrats Carl.
shellylh Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Yup, pretty sure he is OCD. Fur rilz. or just an ass
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Went home to a flooded apartment due to a burst sprinkler pipe somewhere above us. Bedroom is ruined but luckily no electronics that I know of hurt. Won't know until I can get the power back on. In a hotel now for at least a few days. Urrrggggghhhhh!
Hopstretch Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Have had water from below before, not yet from above. Either way, what a giant pain. Sorry!
Salt Peanuts Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Dropped off my car at my mechanic after getting a series of horrible metallic sound from it this morning. Hopefully, it's nothing major but won't know for couple of days and I must say the timing of it just sucks (not that there's ever a good time for your car to have problems).
grawk Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 explained to dannyb why he doesn't have access to forsale forums anymore
guzziguy Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 I take it that your signature is his response? Or haven't I been paying enough attention?
909 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 i took bugsey to another vet today for a third opinion. there appears no way around the fact that he needs surgical intervention because his urinary tract is obstructed. i am worried sick about the little bugger. he'll be going under the knife shortly... here's a photo i shot with my iphone before they took him :'( please keep him in your thoughts (and/or prays, if that's your thing).
The Monkey Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Adorable dog. I hope he'll be ok. My mom was near my office today, so she called and offered to take me out to lunch. Slow day at work, so we enjoyed a nice leisurely meal. Yay Mom!
nattonrice Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 My family's pug (pugsley... lol) always used to always have problems so I feel for you. If he's never had surgery before then the first couple of days you have him home will be quite frightening (well it was for us). He'll sound very hoarse and seem as if he is choking regularly... it is only irritation from being intubated. Pugs are particularly bad after surgery 'cause of their weird soft pallet. As long as you make sure he is calm and doesn't get too worked up/stressed about it he'll be fine
Voltron Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Bugsey is a cool dog. He will prevail!
Augsburger Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 He is one damn cute pug! I hope the surgery goes well and speedy recovery.
Augsburger Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 explained to dannyb why he doesn't have access to forsale forums anymore In a manner that only you can deliver huh? Yah think he would get the hint?
mypasswordis Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 What a nice looking dog, I hope the surgery goes well.
Torpedo Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 What a nice looking dog, I hope the surgery goes well. Indeed. I wish you all the best, 909.
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Thinking of bugsey. Hope all went well. Cute lil guy!
Aimless1 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Hoping bugsey has a speedy recovery after successful surgery.
Augsburger Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 X3 for today. So far made breakfast for my daughter and replaced the batteries in my hygrometer and added water to the humidifiers in my humidors, so far so good.
