Had meeting with the City at which we basically secured victory in our three-year campaign to save the creek. I feel a few thousand pounds lighter.

:prettyprincess: Congrats! :prettyprincess:

Set up a new tonearm, cart and phono stage. Sweated bullets, but didn't lunch anything.

:jbl: Congrats! :jbl:

I guess I officially became a bootlegger since I illegally shipped booze cleaning fluid across state lines. I don't feel bad, FedEx didn't ask what was in the box so I didn't offer.

Went home to a flooded apartment due to a burst sprinkler pipe somewhere above us. Bedroom is ruined but luckily no electronics that I know of hurt. Won't know until I can get the power back on. In a hotel now for at least a few days.

Urrrggggghhhhh!

Dropped off my car at my mechanic after getting a series of horrible metallic sound from it this morning. Hopefully, it's nothing major but won't know for couple of days and I must say the timing of it just sucks (not that there's ever a good time for your car to have problems).

i took bugsey to another vet today for a third opinion. there appears no way around the fact that he needs surgical intervention because his urinary tract is obstructed. i am worried sick about the little bugger. he'll be going under the knife shortly... here's a photo i shot with my iphone before they took him :'(

please keep him in your thoughts (and/or prays, if that's your thing).

My family's pug (pugsley... lol) always used to always have problems so I feel for you.

If he's never had surgery before then the first couple of days you have him home will be quite frightening (well it was for us).

He'll sound very hoarse and seem as if he is choking regularly... it is only irritation from being intubated.

Pugs are particularly bad after surgery 'cause of their weird soft pallet.

As long as you make sure he is calm and doesn't get too worked up/stressed about it he'll be fine :)

X3 for today. So far made breakfast for my daughter and replaced the batteries in my hygrometer and added water to the humidifiers in my humidors, so far so good.
