Beefy Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Did you at least hurt yourself enough for a decent scar?
tyrion Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Doug, glad to hear you are okay, cars come and go. Crazy Scotsman, well they are a dime a dozen, but you know what I mean.
swt61 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Wow! I'm quite happy to hear that you weren't seriously injured!
manaox2 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Whoa, what he said. That sounds like a good scare, but glad to hear you'll be sticking around without any permanent scars.
n_maher Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 x53 Doug, just make sure you still feel ok tomorrow. Not all injuries are instantly noticeable.
Currawong Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sorry to hear about the car accident Doug...they are often more awful in feeling than in physical damage. What Nate said about injuries...it's easy to not realise how badly hurt you are until some time afterwards. If you feel strange at all, like having a sudden desire to buy Skullcandy as your next headphones, get yourself checked out at a hospital immediately.
mypasswordis Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 x86 It's always better to be safe/healthy than sorry/dead. Glad things didn't turn out any worse than they did, though.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 x96 -- and sometimes it's just all your muscles tensing up at once, with which you hurt yourself, in which case all you need is some muscle relaxants for a while. But worth going to the doctor for.
The Monkey Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Oy, sorry to hear that Doug, but glad you're ok. Perhaps the fact that you guys drive on the wrong side of the road had something to do with it?
Dusty Chalk Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I was going to make a "wrong side of the car" comment, but couldn't quite figure out the wording. Left as an exercise for the reader.
Absorbine_Sr Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Glad to hear you're OK Doug but at least in the fine tradition of Sir Jackie Stewart it sounds like it was a spectacular shunt!!
Augsburger Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Glad to hear you are OK, and and you know chicks dig scars.
Deadneddz Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I got out through the sunroof after falling out of my seat when I took my belt off. You're lucky you wern't driving a soft top, things might have been alot worse. Glad you came out relatively unscathed. Hope you're feeling alright now.
Dreadhead Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sorry to hear that Doug. Glad to hear you're ok.
Fitz Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sliced up my finger real good at work today when my drill binded up in a hole and started whipping around. Back home and on painkillers now... so much for finishing that job today.
Voltron Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Argh! Is there a Curse of DanJam striking attendees! Sorry to hear about Fitz. Feel better and enjoy your pain meds.
MexicanDragon Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sorry to hear, doog. BWHAHAHAHA @fitz (get better though) /me woke up to the phone call that my grandmother passed away this morning at age 77. Went in her sleep. That was the last of my grandparents to go, and the second grandmother in the past 4 months. **BRENT**
manaox2 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sorry to hear, doog. BWHAHAHAHA @fitz (get better though) /me woke up to the phone call that my grandmother passed away this morning at age 77. Went in her sleep. That was the last of my grandparents to go, and the second grandmother in the past 4 months. **BRENT** Ugh. Sorry to hear about you and Fitz. If this is a curse, its nasty. Now I'm worried about myself meeting fate while attempting to avoid it.
Aimless1 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sorry to hear that Fitz. I understand alcohol and pain killers make for a fine hangover. My condolences Brent. It's an especially sad day when there are no grand parents left.
swt61 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Sorry Fitz! Been there, done that, and it sucks. Put some good tunes on and make the best of it.
grawk Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 sat on my front porch, smoking a cubano and drinking a beer.
Voltron Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 My condolences Brent. It's an especially sad day when there are no grand parents left. Good way of putting it. Sorry to hear that Brent.
