Hopstretch Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 The top of what? Get the feeling there's some back story I missed?
morphsci Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Drove to Isle of Palms. Checked into the Boardwalk Inn at the Wild Dunes Resort. Hung out by the pool and beach all day drinking Palmetto pale ales. Then we went to dinner. Started off with she-crab soup then shrimp and grits with a side of bleu cheese cole slaw. Washed it down with a couple of Shock Tops. Life is good and so is Priceline.

tyrion Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 CJ, glad the procedure went well Got up at 3:45 am, at the airport at 4:50 am, fly to Atlanta, then to Pensacola. Mediation for 4 or so hours, back to Pensacola Airport, then to Atlanta, to Fort Lauderdale, home by 10:50 pm.
Quadrangulum Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I exercised about an hour in the morning. Then I studied all day at school and hammered out a couple of pages for a paper. Now I'm surfing the internet and listening to music.
doping panda Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Because of my financial aid not coming in soon, I was in a really bad mood this morning. Then, I went to philosophy class and came out happy. Funny how that works. I'm really glad I switch majors.
laxx Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Fucking dead at work right now. Went to Ziggy Marley/311 concert in Central Park last night after work, then met up with some girls that I met in Miami last weekend in Times Square. Had a few drinks, then took the 3:18 am LIRR back to Queens. Overslept and woke up in Port Washington, Long Island. Looked at the schedule and the next train going back west was an hour later (5:10 am). Got in a cab and went home. Showered and went to sleep at 5, woke up at 7:30 to come to work. This is going to be an awesome Friday! /sarcasmoff
jinp6301 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 ouch. try to sneak some sleep at work (not liable if you get fired)
grawk Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Emptied the trap on my washer. A set of measuring spoons, a pencil, 4 socks, and a plastic spudger.

Hopstretch Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Set up my new hot tub in the back yard well not today but yesterday.... Today me and the wife are going to try it out for the first time Don't forget to measure the impulse response.
Dreadhead Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Don't forget to measure the impulse response. It is perfectly circular it might be interesting to try and do this: That'd mix work and fun....
Hopstretch Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 That would be showing off. Forgot to mention -- Mrs. Stretch turned 40 today. Have already made enough decrepit old lady jokes to severely diminish my own chances of getting any of that MILF action. Stupid smart mouth.
laxx Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I'm feeling a lot better now. Couldn't really keep anything down when I ate breakfast or lunch though. W/e. Going to South Street Seaport later to see Kid Cudi perform, then to my friend's bar around the corner. Meeting up with that chick again.
Quadrangulum Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I'm doing more work for my paper today at the library and I have been here since 8am. I can't wait until I go home.
Dusty Chalk Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Demo'd this week's version of the software I've been working on. Went well, was refreshingly not "by the skin of my teeth" (I had it done last night).
