laxx
Going with female friends can be a good thing if they're chill. Some of our female friends go out and look for girls and bring them to us. Then others are cock blocks and never get invited again. heh
n_maher
Glad to hear you are bouncing back, Jacob. Unfortunately I'm in the opposite boat, yesterday's improvement was a plateau, still feel pretty crappy today.
Salt Peanuts
Hope you feel better soon, Nate. We went to our friends' place for some board games. We managed to get through two games before Libby decided it was time to go home.

Driftwood
Caught up on some chores, made dinner with my wife, and then rowed a half marathon on my Concept2.
Fitz
Slept late until I started feeling almost like a living human being again, did a lot of cleaning up around the place, and made decent progress getting caught up on various projects for other people. shellylh
rowed a half marathon on my Concept2. I cannot imagine what my lower back would feel like if I tried to do that.

shellylh
Worked on my tenure and promotion portfolio. I am sorry - that is certainly no fun! Good luck! Will you find out in May/June of 2011 or 2012?

Driftwood
I cannot imagine what my lower back would feel like if I tried to do that. What the heck -- I didn't even click submit twice and I still get a double post? Edited January 2, 2011 by Driftwood double post
Craig Sawyers
What the heck -- I didn't even click submit twice and I still get a double post? shellylh
This is the year of the double posts. Yep, got my Concept2 rower about a month ago. I have been rowing every other day (when I am in town and not sick). I am (in theory) alternating between weightlifting at the gym and rowing at home although it doesn't always happen. Right now I am only rowing for 20 minutes each session (which is usually around 3300-3400m). My lower back gets pretty sore about the 10 minute mark. I am hoping that it will get better with practice.

Fitz
What the heck -- I didn't even click submit twice and I still get a double post? The only time I got a double post so far was when it seemed to stall for a bit after clicking submit, and I didn't immediately close the tab and open the thread again, but just let it go through. Might just be coincidence though, I dunno. I don't know what others are seeing when they mention double posts. I'm only seeing one of each message (using IE8 ). Because everyone edits them immediately.

n_maher
Because everyone edits them immediately. Also because I've been trying to delete as many as I can. And we're looking into the problem, there's no easy explanation that can be found, yet.
n_maher
Because everyone edits them immediately. And just for irony's sake my reply double-posted, despite only hitting reply once. (and yes, it stalled when I hit the button)
Augsburger
I think this is double posting problem is related to the recent solar eclipse. My Mayan Ouija board told me so. Shelly, have you tried laying on the floor face down and simultaneously raising your legs and upper body? That exercise with situps has helped my back a lot and helped me get back on the bike for long mile rides without the back ache. grawk
took down my christmas decorations while watching the CBC version of the winter classic broadcast. I need to subscribe to a canadian satellite broadcaster instead of directv, so I don't have to watch the terrible NBC broadcasts...
