Augsburger Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Good luck Bryan. Shelly, sorry for your loss.
The Monkey Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Went to a class here with my wife: SoulCycle It kicked my ass. But in a good way. I need to do something to lose weight and get in shape. Maybe this is it.
guzziguy Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Played tour guide for Grahame and Joanne. It was raining in SB so we headed over the hills to Santa Ynez valley and some wine tasting. We were rewarded with no rain and even a little sunshine.
Aura Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Thanks so much ladies and gents . I'm a little nervous, but probably more excited.
crappyjones123 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 bryan, good luck. ps. something on your way to musically express the good wishes
Salt Peanuts Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Started off the day scheduling and re-scheduling 20 or so meetings for the next month or so. I love that Lotus Notes doesn't tell me when I'm double or triple-booking myself.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 see, Lotus Notes is a productivity program, not a good program. Good point. Goes along well with the clusterfuck of using Sharepoint on top of Lotus Notes, as I've mentioned elsewhere.
Nebby Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Good point. Goes along well with the clusterfuck of using Sharepoint on top of Lotus Notes, as I've mentioned elsewhere. I'm still amazed that your IT folks went along with it....that's just crazy. I finally got around to setting up my TV's netflix app yesterday. Now I get to choose between the game consoles and the tv for netflix, woot!
Salt Peanuts Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 I'm still amazed that your IT folks went along with it....that's just crazy. I think it's more along the line of they got stuck with it than going along, as the clusterfuck was already in place when the current IT department started working here. I'm guessing they were planning on moving to Sharepoint compatible system (Lotus Notes was already in use before Sharepoint), but ran out of money to do so along they way due to budget reduction & tuition freeze. Either way, it's a huge pain. I also hate that I have to manually input the calendar items on to my iPhone if I want to access them outside of work.
manaox2 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 I'm stuck with Lotus notes in my County as well. I use the calendar on my phone.
Hopstretch Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Holy crap. Are those termite or ant mounds or some such on the left and right? They are termite mounds Al. One looks like it recently encountered an aardvark, with or without baguette. Go Giants!
boomana Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Went to a class here with my wife: SoulCycle It kicked my ass. But in a good way. I need to do something to lose weight and get in shape. Maybe this is it. I went to my first spinning class in a few years this morning at 5AM. Felt great after, but am hurting now. I'm guessing tomorrow won't be pretty.

DefectiveAudioComponent Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 I've been having a headache the size of southern europe.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 I've been having a headache the size of southern europe. What actually constitutes the Southern Europe?
Duggeh Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 What actually constitutes the Southern Europe? Portugal, Spain, Bosnia, Italy, Greece, Malta, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Croatia and technically Gibraltar I guess.
grawk Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 hard wired my radar detector and gps in my new suzuki. Once I crimped the splice connectors tightly enough it worked great

I'm guessing tomorrow won't be pretty. 48 hours later and I am sore as all hell. But I really want to go back. Maybe I have found something I'll actually stick to....
Aura Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 48 hours later and I am sore as all hell. But I really want to go back. Maybe I have found something I'll actually stick to.... No pain, no gain Dinny. You can do it . Interviewed this morning. Felt really good about it. Exec. said that they might doing callbacks for second round interviews as soon as this afternoon.
boomana Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Congrats on the new car, dan. Dinny, I'm sore as well, but going back tonight for an 8PM class. I still miss CrossFit, but trying to find something else I can do, and hopefully get into.
Augsburger Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 May I suggest you try fifteen minutes of stretching after your workout to get the lactic acid out of your muscles, this should help reduce the post workout soreness. You might even try a massage after but that could become expensive I guess except for Dinny if his gym is on west 42nd street. I hear there are still lot's of massage parlors there.
