That's hilarious, Grahame. Claire saw some of your number cavorting earlier in the day and when we were headed out for the evening there were packs of drunken Santas walking down Market. Had no idea there was such a thing as Santacon.

Part yesterday, part today: finished stuffing the eXStata amp pcbs. Started mocking it all up in a potential chassis and it looks promising but may require non-conventional mounting of the transformer. :S

Also took the EAD DAC pcb out of the chassis and removed what was hopefully the offending, buzzing transformer. The replacement trafo should arrive either tomorrow or Tuesday, assuming the USPS isn't in full on panic mode. This was way easier than expected although one fail point is awarded to EAD for putting a mounting screw below a daughter board in a nearly inaccessible location.

Your dog is awesome, I'm glad everything went well with the procedure and I hope he'll recover fast. I really miss having a dog, they're such a comforting presence in a house, it feels empty without them.

Agreed. I miss having dogs more than I can say.

Glad to hear bugsey is on the mend!!

David, good to hear Bugsey is ok!

Just got into Portland for a training session I am running. B-fast and pints at Horse Brass Pub then a pop over to 32 ohms (Ken Ball's) new retail store.

Reconfigured my router from my 1.5 meg DSL modem to my new 20 meg cable modem. :jbl:

It's only been recently here where I live that you can purchase high speed through cable, without having to subscribe to cable TV.
