aardvark baguette Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 You have the 1.5TB or the hugely popular 1tb? I felt a little 'ehh' going with the new, untested 1.5's, but took a gamble.
riceboy Posted March 31, 2009 Author Report Posted March 31, 2009 You have the 1.5TB or the hugely popular 1tb? I felt a little 'ehh' going with the new, untested 1.5's, but took a gamble. I have a 1 TB, a few 750 GB and a few 500 GB drives and some portable 2.5" like the 10 and 160 GB drives. I had the portable and 500GB drive fail, but one was under warranty . Glad you have Drobo and it averted disaster
jinp6301 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 long ass meetings then saw Grant Imahara (the asian guy in mythbusters) give a little speech thing.
Salt Peanuts Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 Built a wardrobe, put up a wall-wide/length curtain in the audio room behind my speakers, and cleaned/reorganized the audio room and guest room.
grawk Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 was it a little speech, or was it a little thing? i don't think it can be both. It was a speech about his little thing
en480c4 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 Rented a wet saw @ Home Depot & cut all of the granite tile for my counter top. Or I should say that I gave measurements for the cuts and my dad did all of the cutting. But the counter and backsplash should be all set after this week, leaving the floor and some trim. Wuhoo!!!
swt61 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 I did some more work on my Pass F5 project. It's coming along nicely, and I'm having fun with it.
The Monkey Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Took advantage of the nice weather. Spent lots of time at the playground with the little monkey and 1,000,000 other stir crazy children.
Hopstretch Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Must have been fun with a raging clanger. I spent much of the day butting heads with my own son and heir, who's on prednisone and apparently auditioning for Exorcist III.
n_maher Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Did massive amounts of brush relocation. I would say the pile of crap that we removed from the front yard is about 10' square and 6 to 7' tall. I'll snap a pic this week if it stops raining.
jinp6301 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 It was a speech about his little thing haha. during his speech, my friend and I were discussing how many socks he probably stuffed in his pants. I guess he wanted to look impressive and get some coed action
Dreadhead Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Went to work, then a meet in Arlington and then relocated all my music to a new share and set my PMP to sync for the next 5 hours.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 (edited) I spent the day with relatives. It was a speech about his little thingI thought that was a myth? Edited April 6, 2009 by Dusty Chalk
Fitz Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 While waiting for a guy to come by and pick up some speakers, I had an epic failure taking a DVD out of its case: :palm:
guzziguy Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 While waiting for a guy to come by and pick up some speakers, I had an epic failure taking a DVD out of its case: :palm: I don't know about that. After taking a look at the label, I can't see any failure there, just a good start.
Grahame Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Joanne and I went with some neighbors for a picnic/party in a local park. Turned out it was the SUNSET Season Opener for PacificSound Great location, lots of people enjoying themselves, as you can see. The Bay Area Hoopers were there too. (Check it out in HQ) Sometimes, life is good
The Monkey Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 ^Wow, that looks like a great time. Excellent pics. I love stumbling across events like that.
n_maher Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 So far today I woke up expecting to go to work, got a call from the woman who takes care of Lily saying that she was sick. So now I'm in daddy daycare mode for the morning. There are worse things than hanging out with the little monster for the morning.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Not today but Saturday I went to Sakura Matsuri -- lots of people, and I got to listen to & meet my first J-Pop star, Ai Kawashima:
Hopstretch Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 She's hot! Who is that girl in the blue jacket with her?
MoonShine Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Nice pic Dusty but I like this one of her a little better
MoonShine Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 I don't think that's the same girl. Yeah, probably not. Comes up on page 2 of a "Ai Kawashima Pics" Google search but the source is sketchy. And Ai Kawashima could be the Japanese equivalent of "Mary Jones" for all I know.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 She's hot! Who is that girl in the blue jacket with her? There's only one girl in the blue jacket! :rimshot:
