Salt Peanuts Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 We contacted/e-mailed some places so we can start planning for our wedding in earnest.
aardvark baguette Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Just had my top two wisdom teeth extracted. I had nitrous and novacane. After having the mask on for a few minutes, a staff member came back in the room and asked if I was feeling "floaty". I told her I couldnt tell; I felt perfectly lucid/sober. A few minutes later another lady asked me how school was going, and I said its good (despite graduating in December 2005). Hearing her laugh, I realized that the nitrous was apparently working

Salt Peanuts Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Went to work, then near the end of the day, told my staff/teachers of my upcoming promotion (i.e., will no longer be their direct supervisor).
grawk Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 dealt with a ton of political crap at work, then went to a cocktail party the night before my reunion with some people I don't remember from high school. It was a good time.
DigiPete Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Just another day at work, trying to get the jet tested
grawk Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I take it that's not classified now then Looks cool.
DigiPete Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I take it that's not classified now then Looks cool. Just a public-release photo..... I've got some better ones
lostonetr Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 got the wisdom teeth on the left side taken out. waiting for the bleeding to stop.
n_maher Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Day - dropped Lily off an Nana and Papa's house and the wife and I went to the Topsfield Fair. Night - built a couple cables and the LCBPS for the Buffalo. Tomorrow - all beta22, all the time.
thrice Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Worked on a Beta as well and finished up a Buffalo DAC.... listening right now. With TOSLINK input (SPIDIF) it doesn't play well with my Airport Express and airtunes.... directly into my laptop with TOSLINK works just fine, so I gotta figure that out. Sounds.......
Voltron Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 dGlad to hear you got out with your wife, Nate. It ain't easy in the early days. Just got back from my first gay wedding. A friend I used to work with and his partner were married upon Bud E Luv pronouncing them "man and man." If you don't know Bud E, he is a lounge singer and humorist. He and his band also performed after dinner. The wedding was on Treasure Island, which is in San Francisco Bay and the middle of the SF=Oakland Bay Bridge. It is fleet week so the Blue Angels were performing right over our heads for the hour before the wedding started. [Cheated a bit here by posting the same thing from the drinking now thread. ]
guzziguy Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Did a short dual-sport ride up Figueroa Mtn near Never-never land.
Aura Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Hung out with one of my closest friends all afternoon, started on our Call of Duty 4 preparation for a LAN he is hosting right after Thanksgiving. Oh, ate some awesome chicken strips for lunch as well. With Hooters mild sauce. It was a solid day.
Smeggy Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Sounds painful. My day has been a day of hell with the outlaws. I think my head is about to implode
hungrych Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Ouch. How? I don't even know. I tripped and somehow ended up hitting it on a bench. It didn't really hurt at all, it's just kind of sensitive. Hopefully I can just get it fixed and not have to have a root canal or anything.
Bigguy Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 If it's Fleet Week in San Francisco it must mean...
Voltron Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Sounds painful. My day has been a day of hell with the outlaws. I think my head is about to implode Do they wear bandana masks? I don't even know. I tripped and somehow ended up hitting it on a bench. It didn't really hurt at all, it's just kind of sensitive. Hopefully I can just get it fixed and not have to have a root canal or anything. Ouch again. Good luck with that! If it's Fleet Week in San Francisco it must mean... Excellent shots bigguy! I was on Treasure Island watching and it was great stuff.

hungrych Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 That's really good to know. It's broken about halfway.
grawk Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 recovered from my reunion last night, then drove home, took the kids to hockey, then came home and watched 2 recorded hockey games and dexter and 20/20
Bigguy Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 Grahame, how was Duffy? I wanted to see her. I love her but she really sucked on a recent SNL show.
