deepak Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I eat tea leaves. I'm fat myself, lol. There's no shame in it. edit: my crap posting quota has reached its limit for today
ChildoftheHorn Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 They sell loose leaf tea You measure the amount of tea, put t into the filter. Then you put hot water into the cup, then the filter into the cup with the lid on the filter. and tea looks like this *japanese sencha*
laxx Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 edit: my crap posting quota has reached its limit for today Heh, I set myself up for that one. But yea, I use tea leaves like these. After I drink it, the leaves aren't as bitter and I like to chew on them. =T I got that habit from my uncle. I like the bitter taste.
manaox2 Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I'm so poor I thought that joke might have been about not reusing bags of tea. I taught Technology at a middle school all day. Correlation? maybe.
Knuckledragger Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I've been building PC's for way too long and never use anything with an Asus label on it. I did own a laptop from them back in 2002 which was ok but that's it. Abit or Gigabyte are the only mobo's I use. Dump the PC and get a 909 or even a 303 and mod the shit out of it. I hard to look at that three times before I figured out you weren't talking about a 303 or 909. I didn't figure you for the Hardfloor type. Or even the Gus Gus type, really. People do mod the shit out of their 303s. 909s and 707s as well.
bperboy Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Classes... then string ensemble rehearsal! w00t! go music!

Do you bloody colonials know nothing! h2g2 - Tea http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/oldblobs/996668.swf
ChildoftheHorn Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I purge the leaves by running them under some cool water first. "hot" is according to the instruction based on the tea. Besides, I never cared for Burgamot. Even when I do get Darjeelings and Assam teas, I usually brew them lighter than most people would. Though, this is not observed when dealing with the first flush which has a refined oolong taste (technically it is an oolong).
JBLoudG20 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 hehe: Note: Claims to be an Engineer, but hasn't earned that title yet Note: Claims to be an Engineer, but hasn't earned that degree title yet either.
n_maher Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Note: Claims to be an Engineer, but hasn't earned that degree title yet either. As someone who's earned both degree and title I take particular offense to her claim of being a professional engineer. Not that the title means a great deal, the list of idiot engineers is not short, but to make the claim when it's not true is just .

My point, although you don't seem to recognize my title since I don't take your silly exam

My point, although you don't seem to recognize my title since I don't take your silly exam Yeah, I'm not sure "silly" is the term I'd use to describe that exam
JBLoudG20 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Yeah, I'm not sure "silly" is the term I'd use to describe that exam It sure is silly to me Nobody in my branch takes it.
n_maher Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 It sure is silly to me Nobody in my branch takes it. Do you guys/gals refer to yourselves as professional engineers, or just software engineers (or other nonsense). To me a PE is a PE, which means you're licensed and registered with the appropriate board. But there are lots of jobs that carry an "engineer" title that operate in a gray area. -=she=- is referring to herself and her friends as professional engineers which take it to another level in my book. In some states unfounded claims like that can land you in a lot of hot water.

I'm an embeded engineer by trade, Computer Engineer (and Electrical) by academia, and idiot by general consensus.
en480c4 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 an <snip> idiot by general consensus. +1 for honesty.
grawk Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I'm officially a high performance computing engineer by job title, and I'm a college dropout But that's not the same thing as professional engineer.
PFKMan23 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 <snip> and idiot by general consensus. That's some knee slappin' goodness.
aardvark baguette Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV
Fing Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Software engineer - with no accreditation whatsoever.
Voltron Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I'm a doctor I'm a Juris Doctor, but I can't even stand to watch ER with all the guts and stuff. And John Stamos' 18 o'clock shadow. Eww.
Smeggy Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I make shit look pretty now and used to be in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Corps. I'm not an engineer either, does that qualify me to make cables too?
