Sweet to take your kids on citytrips even though they're relatively young. We plan on visiting a lot of cities because we thought like, when we have kids that will be a bit more of a problem.

By all means it is more problematic to travel with kids than without. But kids are no reason to sit at home and feel sorry for yourself either. And with kids you see things you never have seen before, did you for instance know that there is a playground almost right beside the Charles Bridge on the western bank? ;) I did not until last year (which was the third time in Prague). On the other hand there was no late night beer drinking the last time either.
