Tachikoma Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Nice leading the audience with the "We all know...". Feedback has its uses. I would agree from what I have heard in I/V stages (Jocko variants) that feedback isn't a good thing here. An I-out DAC really wants a dead short, and <50 ohms isn't a particularly good impression of a dead short... < 1 ohm would be much better, but certainly less than 3-5 ohms is easily doable. And is the TDA1543 well thought of (at least excluding Monica...)? I guess if it sounds good... The monica uses the TDA1545, while the Lite DAC-AH uses the TDA1543.
Filburt Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 So, let me get this straight, for $1500 you get the sloppy recovered clock of the PCM2707 hooked into a low end, obsolete d/a converter pushed through what is probably a basic common-base i/v all housed in a generic off-the-shelf hammond? lostonetr Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 I've included a pic of my custom mouse pad, to avoid all the PMs I'll get if I don't. I learned my lesson on [H] a while back it doesn't mess with the surface of the func pad to have the stuff printed on it?
aardvark baguette Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 The print is underneath the surface.
