Thelonious Monk Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 http://www.ubu.com/sound/komar.html i must have horrible taste, because the worst song ever is great. way better than the kenny g shit on the 'most wanted song'. Yom Kippur! Yom Kippur! Do all your shopping... AT WAL-MART! 20 minute epic with lots of tuba funk and opera rap.
hungrych Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 I kept waiting for a funk metal guitar solo from Vernon Reid on the most wanted song....
hungrych Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 The most unwanted one is fucking awesome though, at least so far.
Thelonious Monk Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 IT'S LABOR DAY! check out alfred schnittke's 1st symphony for this kind of post-modern structure in actual music. no opera-rap, unfortunately.
Spiug31 Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 The "best song ever" is bad, uplifting opening but with the instruments crossing over each other mid phrase and the rest being too sugary sweet. Duggeh Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 I couldn't sit through the best song. It was just a completely grey and uninvolved mish-mash. The worst song on the other hand was a glorious and spectacular piece of cocophony. It was like the bio-engineered bastard offspring of Ivor'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVK2jUCAjlw"]Ivor Cutler, Brad Roberts and Todd Rundgren all making a re-recording of Mike Oldfields Amarok. The kinds even sing Ommadawn at one point! I love it.
