Thelonious Monk Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 sorry, what century are the above choices for? I need to know before I can vote. thx Yeah, this poll is biased against classical music.
postjack Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 the poll is not intended to cover the entire history of music, just the decades listed. like if I said choose your favorite fruit: apples oranges pineapple i'm not hatin' on bananas, I just want to know which of the above three fruits you like best.
luvdunhill Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 the poll is not intended to cover the entire history of music, just the decades listed. so, all centuries are fair game? okay, thanks, bye.
postjack Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 so, all centuries are fair game? okay, thanks, bye. the 1900s, jesus, relax.
luvdunhill Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 the 1900s, jesus, relax. so, is the 00 choice is 1900s or 2000s? I'm confused
postjack Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 so, is the 00 choice is 1900s or 2000s? I'm confused i have failed, you have won. :'( also i do generally dislike bananas and big band jazz.
luvdunhill Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 also i do generally dislike bananas and big band jazz. me too I demand a re-vote will all centuries and decades accounted for!
Pars Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 so, is the 00 choice is 1900s or 2000s? I'm confused Oohhh... '00s = 1900 instead of 2000? That'd be like Mahler, which would probably change my vote...
Dusty Chalk Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 also i do generally dislike bananas ...You know, "liking Phil Collins" was just a quirk about you that I could tolerate, but this is just...just...(sputters)...intolerable. Bananas are perfect. Scientifically proven fact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGMuIyBK5P4
Fungi Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Bananas are perfect. Scientifically proven fact: But bananas open easier, neater, quicker from the "wrong" end. Just sqeeze, and it opens up. No more trying to tear that "tab" off while smashing the contents inside. WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?
Dusty Chalk Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 But bananas open easier, neater, quicker from the "wrong" end. Just sqeeze, and it opens up. No more trying to tear that "tab" off while smashing the contents inside. WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?So they're easy to eat from either end, like a hot dog? I see no dilemma. The pull-tab is there for people who prefer pull-tabs, the messy end is there for people who like to eat messily. I feel no cognitive dissonance.
Fungi Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 So they're easy to eat from either end, like a hot dog? I see no dilemma. The pull-tab is there for people who prefer pull-tabs, the messy end is there for people who like to eat messily. I feel no cognitive dissonance. The pull tab is unreliable since some banana skins are just so tough you end up fighting it for a good ten seconds before getting it open, and rather messily. The other end is hassle-free on every banana; you just pinch the very end and it pops open because that's just how the banana splits.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 You bastard, now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the night, and it's late enough that I might wake up with it, too. One banana two banana three banana four Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more Over hill and highway the Banana Buggies go Comin' up to bring you the Banana Split show Makin' up a mess of fun Makin' up a mess of fun Lots of fun for ev'ryone...
Pars Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Am I glad I don't know that song... same thing happened to me with some of the crap '70s songs a bit earlier
Happy Camper Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 So 66-76 don't count? Disco.......... Damn Bee-Gees. That era did have some painful songs. I Am Woman -Helen Ready DOA -Bloodrock Jungle Boogie -Kool and the Gang
Pars Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 I Am Woman -Helen Reddy Fixed that for ya Who was it that did the parody on this, with the lyrics "I am woman, hear me bitch buy my records, make me rich"
