Smeggy Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Happy Burpdai Duggeh, ya scotch git! :prettyprincess: :prettyprincess:
Duggeh Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Thank you all very much. The Scottish git spent his weekend with some Scottish gin. Good times were had. When your birthday presents include a jar of pickled eggs and cupcakes with tablet on them, its good times. Got some birthday money from variosu family members. Together its enough for a set of Livewires. Oh temptation.
Smeggy Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Best way to avoid temptation: give in Indeed
Duggeh Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Ah but give in to what? A PSP Slim is tempting, so is an Asus EEE PC laptop although I'd need to raise a little more for that...
deepak Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Get a DS (if you don't have one already) and start playing Castlevania
Duggeh Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 My brother has one and I have no interest in one. The PSP is tempting because of the ridiculous things that you can do with it once its hacked open, which apparently includes playing DS games (although no touch screen obviously). It'd be great for me for portable video and emulation of Megadrive and SNES games. The EEE would be useful for university as well as for playing, except that I'd really want the 8 gig version and its a lot more cost and a complete hens teeth to find compared to the 512/4gig version. Livewires means finding somewhere to stick gunk in my ears. And a long wait. Defo need to think about where the money gets wasted. I mean spent.
Duggeh Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Not unlike a brittle fudge, with even more sugar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_tablet
Voltron Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 tablet? Not unlike a brittle fudge, with even more sugar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_tablet I really had a different idea in my head... How about you, Reks?
Knuckledragger Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I had the same thought, but Duggeh didn't seem like the lysergic type to me.
guzziguy Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I had the same thought, but Duggeh didn't seem like the lysergic type to me. Definitely not. He's a ginsergic kind of guy!
boomana Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 I must be getting old. I actually thought of something like this which did seem odd on a cupcake, but with people, you never know.
grawk Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I must be getting old. I actually thought of something like this which did seem odd on a cupcake, but with people, you never know. That's cute, you still have pictures of your first grade art project
boomana Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 That's cute, you still have pictures of your first grade art project Yes, I had a lot more talent back then. It's decreased with every passing year, which will give you a good idea of how gawd awful I truly am.
Spiug31 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I must be getting old. I actually thought of something like this which did seem odd on a cupcake, but with people, you never know. I like the translation of that "The bones of Uzziah, King of Judah, rest here ... Do not open!" the ... is a nice touch
Knuckledragger Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 That's cute, you still have pictures of your first grade art project boomana was in 1st grade in 2500BC? Damn, she's older than I thought! (I'm surely gonna get banned for that one)
