bjw
Dammit, don't you hate when you get to work (after a weekend of not shaving) and realize you missed a huge patch somewhere on your face? Bleh. Monday's suck... and worse yet, am hour was stolen from me this weekend.
aardvark baguette
hehe, I may have jury duty tomorrow, so I took it upon myself to skip shaving this weekend
ecclesand
I hate shaving...period. I have very coarse whiskers on my neck that go every which way. If I want a baby smooth face from shaving, I usually end up bloody...
laxx
I wish I either have more facial hair or none at all.
ojnihs
shaving is the worst. and it doesn't help that my hair grows ridiculously fast. also i'm pretty certain this should go in off topic, not miscellaneous for audio gear
bjw
If we morphed the conversation into how ear hair effects IEM seal or how just the right length of ear hair enhances soundstage it might be appropriate to stay in this forum? Sorry, yeah, started this in the wrong place. I'll start thinking coherently by tomorrow (hopefully).

aardvark baguette
I always laugh at people on the street with long hair, who have their hair going over the ears, and headphones on top of the hair.
Chekhonte
I have the worst of both worlds when it comes to facial hair. I'm part native american so I can't grow a beard any denser than your average ball sack hair. What facial hair I do have is also really course causing it in-grow all the time. bhd812
I can't stand when i miss a section when i shave, usually its rite under my jaw bone towards the back/ear. if i let the hair grow 4-5 days without shaving it's tougher to shave the next time around so i usually shave every other day, its not that the hair grows fast but instead it just gets tough and that leads to cuts. aardvark baguette
I miss having a beard. There was like no upkeep involved at all. Just cut the edges once every few weeks. I only got rid of it for a job interview. I've kept it off since.

ojnihs
Fixed it. heh, good point. not sure if it's common amongst us asian folk or not. hmm...
laxx
Yup, being Asian, I get wiskers. God damn, either let me be able to grow a beard or don't give me any at all! If I don't shave, I just look real dirty like I'm from the country side of southern Asia.

aardvark baguette
If you have thick enough hair, consider a beard. No razor burn FTW Though it will itch for the first 2 weeks or so.
Smeggy
As you get older you'll find it sinks down from your scalp and comes out your ears and nose instead.
guzziguy
Razor burn in the morning sucks so much Try L'Occitane Cade after shave balm. It works great for me. Probably any after shave balm would do the trick.

I'm somewhat lucky, it's coming out my ears and nose too rather than instead.
ecclesand
I'm somewhat lucky, it's coming out my ears and nose too rather than instead. Yeah....lucky. I have to shave first with an electric razor, then one of those Gillette Fusions. I get maybe 2 shaves per blade and those suckers are pricey. For the ear and nose hair, I have a separate gismo that lets you trim those areas without cutting a major artery.
laxx
Damn, 2 shaves per blade, lol. I think I can use the same blade for a few months, LOL.
Dusty Chalk
I have found that I look best with the Don-Johnson-from-the-80's/French "uber-stubble" look, as I don't have the density to grow a full beard, and I look better with some facial hair than none. Also, I'm fortunate that it's soft enough not to be stubbly when I do it like that. Alas, ever since I started the CPAP/BiPAP, I have to keep it even shorter. Still haven't figured that out yet, but I may have to go clean-shaven in the long run.

Spiug31
It's been about 5 years since I last shaved or had my hair cut (long story), for now I'm happy with it as is and have a 26cm (10") long (chin to tip of beard) full beard. The hair on my head has grow significantly faster than my beard as it is now level with the tip of my beard. Wearing my K340's seems unaffected by my hair but I do have to remove my specs before I get a good seal.
