Hopstretch Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Speaking of passwords. Good deal if you use 1Password on your Mac. Get the iPhone/Touch app for free.
thrice Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Looks like the RedEye Universal Remote for iPhone/iPod Touch system went on sale today: https://thinkflood.com/buy/products/redeye/
The Monkey Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 heh, I just posted that, too, elsewhere. Do you think it will be a good product? I would like to have a universal remote.

laxx Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Dropped my phone today and cracked the screen. Went to an apple store and they replaced my phone for me. Very nice of them.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 That's because your humidity detector hadn't been triggered yet.
thrice Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/05/technology/companies/05apple.html?_r=1 Apple acquires LaLa. I haven't used the service (just heard about it) but the acquisition points to some interesting possibilities.
blessingx Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Yeah, should be interesting to see what happens. Longest NYTimes article on the App Store... http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/06/technology/06apps.html
thrice Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Interesting new app from AT&T: AT&T Releases “Mark the Spot” iPhone App for Network Quality Feedback | The iPhone Blog
grawk Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 What I want is software like "Sound Byte" for the mac, but on the iphone. So that I can assign a grid of buttons to audio files already on my phone. Like the millions of sound board apps for the iphone, only with actual music files on my iphone already, instead of fart noises or sounds recorded with the crappy microphone. Anyone know of anything like that?
blessingx Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 For those that are looking for a sleep app, the Pzizz folks just came out with their iPhone apps ('rest' for naps with alarm at end, 'sleep' without). Currently, each $2.99 for next seven days, then goes up to $9.99. I'm a big fan of the Mac modules. Different than a lot of similar apps, as the tracks are created on the fly based on your settings. You don't keep hearing the same tune over and over. Anyway, thought some of you may be interested, especially those who travel. Review of their Mac versions here.
blessingx Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Dragon Dictation comes to the iPhone. Wow.
recstar24 Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Dragon Dictation comes to the iPhone. Wow. Arg...it requires 3.1 software update and I still have the older one for tethering, darn it.

Hopstretch Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Often spotty. Occasionally just perfect.
Raez Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 If any of the iPods could play FLAC, I would never consider buying any other media player.
