Yeah that's the price you pay for rarity I guess. They'll almost certainly sound very treble intensive and lack a lot of bass.

Pah, didn't you read the brochure, it says "unprecedented deep bass"

and "approaches theoretical perfection" if that's not worth a paltry $300 I don't know what is.

Man I'm itchy on these. My ESS AMT 1D speakers I had in the 80's & 90's were fantastic. The Heil transformer is brilliant, but I do require some bass. Just not sure if they'll have much. I'm going to go with the general consensus that these are overpriced though.
