deepak Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Walt's threat to Frank Hank last night... amazing
Pars Posted August 12, 2013 Author Report Posted August 12, 2013 Great to have this back on, though bittersweet in the fact that it is ending. Story line would not support more than this (not sure it supported it this far to be fair). Good 1st episode though! Anyone catch the new series following it? Low Winter Sun? Didn't watch the whole thing, but looks promising! My wife is beginning to hate me... everything I like is "very dark"
blessingx Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 See Badger’s Star Trek Story, Animated http://ow.ly/215Yi2
Edwood Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 I love limited TV series that have a definite plan to end in a specific time frame and number of seasons, instead of dragging on and on until the audience is just Lost. 1

Voltron Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 Holy fuck, Breaking Bad. I might not survive the last two.
livewire Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 OMFG! - That was intense. Ima gonna have BB DT withdrawals when it's all over...
Voltron Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 Like the tag line says, "all bad things must come to an end." Not so thrilled with the second to last show, but the end sure is physically and emotionally brutal.
blessingx Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Is the pacing what bothered you? I liked it, mostly because...(not really a spoiler) you get a continuing encompassing look at the seeds they've sowed and what keeps them in. Also if twitchy Lydia was a wonderful wildcard, dead-eyed Todd has blossomed into wildcard dynamite. Edited September 24, 2013 by blessingx
Voltron Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 You meant to say Todd, that Opie, dead-eyed piece of shit. Yeah, he is a wildcard and scary and I actually thought Uncle Jack might kill him in that episode, but Todd's greed and desire for Lydia saved him. The storyline is great and I felt like this was the necessary setup -- putting everybody in their places (or out of the mix like Saul) for the final showdown -- but it wasn't as compelling or intense as last week. Also, I am sentimental and have my own issues, but I wished that Junior hadn't wished his dad dead. The last ep should be amazing and wild. Can't wait.
Pars Posted September 24, 2013 Author Report Posted September 24, 2013 Jr. has always annoyed me. Love how he just jumped to the conclusion that Walt had killed Hank. In some ways it is more Skyler's fault as to what happened to Hank (prodding Walt to handle Jesse).
blessingx Posted September 25, 2013 Report Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) Any theories on the 92% versus 94%? Edited September 25, 2013 by blessingx
shellylh Posted September 25, 2013 Report Posted September 25, 2013 After buying the first two episodes of the Final Season from itunes, I realized they were all on Comcast On Demand. At least I didn't buy the whole season.
shellylh Posted September 25, 2013 Report Posted September 25, 2013 If I watch one a day, I will be ready for the Finale on Sunday!
aardvark baguette Posted September 25, 2013 Report Posted September 25, 2013 I think starting sometime today AMC is playing all episodes of all seasons, up to the final on Sunday night.
Voltron Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 Excellent work! The finale will be fun.
