tkam Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Lost has been an odd show for me, I really liked the first season, hated the second season and liked most of the third season after the first few episodes. So far in season four I've been really happy with where the show is going. All the drama, tension and intrigue that first made me a fan is back and honestly so far I think season 4 is shaping up to be the best yet.
kpeezy Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 I've never seen an episode of Lost. I always kick myself ~5 seasons down the road of a supposedly great show for not watching it from the start and then being too lazy to catch up.
Mister X Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 i really liked the episode tonight Yeah, me to. I thought it was the best one of this season... so far.
n_maher Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Yeah, me to. I thought it was the best one of this season... so far. Agreed, it was quite good.
ojnihs Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 today's was definitely the best of the season thus far. definitely had me on the edge of my seat a lot and had me scratching my head as well. great stuff.
humanflyz Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 No spoilers please, for those of us on the west coast.
ojnihs Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 No spoilers please, for those of us on the west coast. no worries, but i guarantee you'll enjoy tonight's episode
Mister X Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 are there pirates? That one Ben guy kinda looks like a butt pirate to me. Does that count?
JBLoudG20 Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 close enough for government work. Where's Dan when we need him?
humanflyz Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Damn, that was an intense episode. I love it.
ojnihs Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Damn, that was an intense episode. I love it. told you you wouldn't be disappointed
n_maher Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 ok, that episode completely redeems last season. wow. My only fear is that it has raised my expectations for how they'll deal with the next 3 years.
tkam Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 There's only two seasons left after this year, but yeah last nights ep was amazing.
laxx Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 It was good and I wanted to post about it last night, but I was too tired after watching it.
tkam Posted May 16, 2008 Author Report Posted May 16, 2008 Great episode last night. Didn't see the whole Claire being Jack's step-sister thing coming
fierce_freak Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 It was confirmed last season during Claire's flashback episode "Par Avion." I'm a Lost geek
deepak Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 I finally finished watching the rest of this season. Sort of a mediocre start, but wow it got really good.
GPH Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Lost is coming back tonight! I think the show's been getting better with every season and I can't wait to see what the authors have in mind for the last two seasons. It's actually the only American TV show along with House that I've watched every single episode and that's been consistently good from the beginning IMO.
n_maher Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Lost is the last show I'd call consistent. Great first season, terrible second and it's been pretty hit or miss for me ever since. I'll give it a chance this year but it's on short leash.
GPH Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Depends if you care or not about the (shitload of) loose ends, but the concept is very original compared to most TV shows and it keeps me on the edge of me seat most of time. I have to say though that I watched the first three seasons on DVD and it would probably have been more frustrating if I had watched it live because the episodes rarely leave you with answers, only more questions.
en480c4 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 While I'd agree that Lost has been less than consistent, it more than makes up for that with it's ambition. I'd prefer to watch an ambitions show occasionally fall flat on its face over a show that aims low and hits that target every time Having said that, Chuck has been the most consistent and entertaining show for me the last few years. I don't think they've misstepped yet.

Consistently good = BSG (minus a few episodes that were real duds )
en480c4 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Consistently good = BSG (minus a few episodes that were real duds ) Speaking of which, last week's was a tough watch. Bleak and depressing... Hit me like few other episodes in the series. Or I was just really tired
