Dusty Chalk Posted March 2, 2008 Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 Been unhappy with the hd600s for while, going to try a few cables (Yes I know cables won't miraculously completely change the headphone's signature-- but some still say the cables are needed to help them shine) .Actually, I am of the opinion that in the HD600's case, cable upgrade is practically required. Then the balanced outs of the Central Station to the hd600, via hd650 stock cable in balanced mode. Bought a Cardas SE cable, to try with the CS headphone out, and the gilmore lite w/ DPS out.
