grawk Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Someone has emailed me looking for someone to build a regulated 12v power supply that will work in france, along with the cable to make an apogee AD500 work from it. I can provide contact information, etc. Quote
n_maher Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 I can only speak for myself as a non-MOT but building power supplies doesn't seem like anything anyone is interested in doing. I get requests reasonably often (considering I don't solicit anything) and usually the only way that someone gets one built is to post a WTB thread. Quote

Yah, but I know that at least one of the MOTMOTMOTs here is hard up for cash, and the guy was looking to buy, so I figured I'd help 2 people at once I have no financial interest in either end of the deal. JBLoudG20 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Dan, I'm suprised that you didn't directly message me about it I'd be willing. Quote
Smeggy Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I don't know much about power supplies, but wouldn't a regulated Computer PSU do it? They can dish out a decent amount of current and output 12V. Although I think most are switching these days for efficiency. Quote
