GPH Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 While I'm pretty sure he doesn't read Head-case, I wish him a happy anniversary! Now, let's get serious Phil, it's time to call Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett and do a real Genesis reunion before you turn 60 and go completely deaf.
aardvark baguette Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Well if you told me you were drowning, I would not wish you happy birthday. J/K Happy birthday you old bastard.
deepak Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Phil if you're reading this, I'm sorry I dissed you in so many threads. Happy birthday

Duggeh Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 As Phil Collins ages, Jeremy Beadle dies. I call that unfair given the talent balance.
guzziguy Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Minor correction. My wife said that he's 57 today. She's right. I looked it up and his birthday is January 30, 1951. Now back to our regularly scheduled dissing.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 I didn't like the way Phil dismissed Steve Hackett's inputs during the press conference announcing the world tour, so he doesn't get a happy birthday from me.
Absorbine_Sr Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 fuck that shit, and fuck phil collins. So, you like him and stuff then? Me personally, I think he's not very good. Just sayin'.
Smeggy Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 I can't stand Phil Collins, but hey, we all like a happy birthdays
Pars Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 He's a very good drummer... so Happy Birthday anyhow.
GPH Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 He's a very good drummer... so Happy Birthday anyhow. I totally agree with you. He's a pretty good singer, but he's a badass rock drummer. His work on the first two Brand X albums and on early Genesis albums is out of this world. For those of you who only think of him as a guy who sings cheesy pop hits, I urge you to get the album Morrocan Roll from Brand X, it's fusion jazz at its best.
deepak Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Happy birthday Phil Collins thank you for ruining Genesis
GPH Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Bill Bruford FTW. UK anyone? UK is great. In fact, I don't remember Bill Bruford playing on a bad album. All the Yes and KC albums he plays on are awesome. For the Phil Collins haters, you should take a look at the Genesis Live in Concert 1976 video, Bruford was their drummer for this tour and he plays a couple of incredible duets with Collins.
